I thought the change of gear Tamfana showed suggested a strongly run 1m would be her optimum trip, however I’m informed that they believe 1m is on the sharp side and that she will be suited by the step up.
Anything is possible, but it always tempers my enthusiasm when the stable jockey passes it over. Even if logic said he always would.
Thanks, I just heard that too.
Shame. I fancy RAR.
Anyone else think Moore will choose Rubies Are Red?
Labak aside!
I do believe that his first ever winner in 1995 was Tourist Attraction who was unplaced in his last start. The only horse to have won it when unplaced last time out…
Bubble burst….
Mister Fisher e/w is my idea of the best bet of the meeting in the Ryanair.
Why pulled up even if on form?
Thanks guys, sorry that was lazy of me. I do agree though that It’s down to CPS to win the race. Everyone has to win at a course for a first time I guess. And whilst ratings have them 1lb apart, I’d think that peak Altior would do what peak Altior did to other horses and just get the job done.
Chacun Pour Soi – never been around Cheltenham, never ran with ‘good’ in the going description. He may well be a Rolls-Royce and he may well win by a distance, but his price with those unknowns is awful and has to be taken on. As sure as night follows day, there is a Mullins sure thing that gets turned over. I don’t know which it will be, but it would be no surprise if it was this one.
Call me mad, but I’d like to see Pic D’Orhy supplemented for this. I thought his performance yesterday off 11st 12lb giving weight away all round and travelling like a dream before being collared was highly promising. I would have him as a lively outsider if he lined up.
Would you really take Abracadabras out of the race?! Even though Shiskin made a bad error down the back, was nearly brought down turning for home and still ran him down late on? Abra looks a very god horse, but Shiskin won the race when everything went wrong on ground that was softer than ideal. Hard to envisage a scenario where he reverses the form for me.
All this Shiskin v Asterion Forlonge should be decided in a match bet.
The smart money is on a combination tricast on Chantry House, Edwardstone and Fiddlerontheroof……..

Unfortunately not going to post.
Lostintranslation for me.
It is a small field, but they are high class operators and you can’t blame connections of others looking elsewhere for easier chances at prize money. A horse could run out of their skin and come 4th in this or could pick a win in a grade 2/3 and make much more.
Struggled with Devine Spirit as I assume Doyle has the pick between that and Theory of Time, rode them both last time out and is on the latter?
Gut tells me that TDH reveres the from with POS, but at the prices, I’d chance Royal Marine e/w in the hope that he has taken some time to come to hand as a 3yo.
