Supreme Novice Hurdle

Haven’t bet on the race myself but I’ve just noticed Facile Vega (2/1) is entered to race in a maiden hurdle at Gowran on Saturday. Also as has been mentioned in another thread, the Nicky Henderson hype horse Jet Powered (14/1) is also set to make his debut over hurdles on Saturday at Newbury.

Have had a free bet on jet powered at 14s and hopefully will run and win well on friday

Facile vega though looks like he could be a genuine superstar and may run on saturday

This market will definitely start moving in the next few days

Jet Powered acquired a relatively-decent Irish Point rating for his 3m Maiden win at Borris House, but would be facing a more exacting test at Newbury on Friday.

Another Henderson horse I’d be interested in is Firestep (33/1). He talked it up in his stable tour said he thought it could be a Supreme horse next year but they had problems with it. Can’t see it entered anywhere ye this season though.

I am on Firestep 33s, that was when i thought Facile Vega was going to go Ballymore. I’ll see how it plays out.

I still think it’s a nice price either way Mike when you consider the other Hendo hype horse is less than half the price

Jet Powered quite impressive. Looked like the winner all the way. Pity the race was marred by the horrible incident on the home turn.

Hills go 8s but likely won’t last long

Likely to settle at 5s-6s I’d imagine

Added Jet Powered 8-1. That may be Henderson’s number one 2 miler.

Just watched the replay. He is clearly quality. Took 17/2 with Ladbrokes.

Would Facile Vega have won that any more impressively?

The horses that were brought down seemed to be OK but the other horse broke down very badly. Very sad to see and for the owners.
