Really want to take the small amount of 50s still around for Regal Encore, he’s a low as 16s in places. But he still holds an entry to the race at Ascot a few days before and I haven’t read anything from connections that is particularly strong for either race….
VtC, Tiger Roll has an entry to the Cross Country at Cheltenham on Friday.
I mention this because as we know, this was the route Cause of Causes went down at the Festival en route to placing in the National.
Both horses are trained by Gordon Elliot…I wonder whether Tiger Roll is being aimed at the big fences in April…or maybe I’m reading something that isn’t there…

I’m going tomorrow….am like a kid on Xmas eve tonight !

Connections missed the RSA with American last year due to connections believing he’s better on soft ground. So with it drying up wouldn’t be surprised if he comes out.
Don’t say things like that!!
Have the same concerns regarding American, although I’m confident my second play on SFP is ok with no rain. American would suit my pocket better mind.
Although SFP would suit my TTF much better !!
I like the look of On the Blind Side but haven’t had a bet on this race as yet.
Hoping Coneygree stays in to keep American’s weight down.
Frodon drifting this morning, 10s to 14s
I’m making my first ever trip to Ascot tomorrow – if I’m honest it won’t be my biggest betting day. Am interested in seeing if Defi is as good as many reckon but I’ll be happiest if dear old Smad can pick up another victory.
Disappointing for the race and may have a bearing elsewhere too – will SJ run in the King George now?
As someone not going to Haydock and with my pocket talking, I’m looking at my Cue Card 13/2 docket feeling slightly happier.
Interesting…does that make him likely for the Hennessy instead I wonder
To my mind this one is pretty simple, if Cue Card makes it round, the only one who can beat him is Sizing John. Although I think he’ll be well prepped I don’t expect him to be 100% and may need the run so my money goes on Cue Card.
Good luck all

Coneygree and American having a spin round Newbury tomorrow ahead of the Hennessy in a couple of weeks….interesting
Our Duke has had a back operation which might explain his JNWine run – Harrington says back in time for Irish gold cup in Feb.
Not sure that’s whether that’s a good thing as we can draw a line through his last run or whether a bad thing as it’s difficult to see him being 100% for Cheltenham.
