Only just seen this – I’m not in yet but will do it tomorrow

very interesting, where did you see that out of interest?
if he wins that though, would he not stick to hurdling for the season and mop up what appears to be an average set of 3 mile hurdlers.
Colin Tizzard from ATR at the end of October:
“He will start off at Newbury over hurdles, then go for the King George. That’s the plan. We’ve been there before with him and we just want to get a run in before the King George. I don’t know where else we could run him.”
The 12/1 is for the festival next march (CoC favourite at 7/1). The others you speak of around 9/2 are for this Friday’s race – for which UdG is a general 5/1 shot.
Taken me a while to pick out what i like in the race, have settled on two for now
Aqua dude at 25/1 e/w
Aso 20/1 e/wWere he to repeat his Ryanair run you would think he’d go close, although different course for the BV mind.
Edited to add: Talking about Aso
Thistlecrack’s performance against Many Clouds didn’t concern you?

I think plans have changed since those comments but can’t remember where I read it. Either way, if you’re not betting til the day it doesn’t matter

Might Bite won’t run will he?
I can’t see past the top 2 I’m afraid, I think I’ll keep a watching brief and just sit back and enjoy.
FrankieMac, and Pontisback………..Petit Mouchoir has had a setback, and trainer hoped to have him back for Irish Arkle next year.
I’m happy that’s enough for you to put in a sub if you want.
I’ll swap out Petit Mouchoir for Our Duke please.
Evening all, my first go in this if that’s ok.

Who Dares WinsIf you let me know how, I’d like to make a contribution VtC. Many thanks for organising.
Love reading your posts steeplechasing, you’ve clearly forgotten more about NH racing than I’ll ever learn but couldn’t have TNO for the Stayers myself. A horse on the way down, not certain to stay the trip, and jumps right on a left handed track.
CoC has been cut from 9s to 7s….I’m strictly small time so some of you lads must have been piling in

Personally I don’t think there’s any value in a TC bet at all.
Asking a horse to peak on 3 occasions, at 3 different tracks, against high quality opposition, at different points in the season, taking going etc into account….nigh on impossible I would think. Too many variables for me.
Would love to see it done mind and I’d be routing for whichever horse managed win the first two regardless of who I had backed for the GC.

Cheers VtC, with the Kerry National gone and now I’ve got my tickets booked for the Hennessy I’m starting to get excited again.

Apologies, but I just can’t get into the flat (which is probably just as well for my bank account
)Daft question alert – anyone have thoughts on whether Charbel is likely to be aimed at the CC or the Ryanair?
Just read a quote from a stable tour with Kim Bailey that says:
“I would love to take him up to two and a half miles and he will start in a graduation chase at Kempton or Wetherby in the first week of November.”
I might have a very small play for the Ryanair.
I’ve been hovering over CoC at 9s (b365) for a while now. Last I read indicated the cross country was the target, and if he makes it to March fit I think the 9s is good value. Not many firms have it priced up yet, maybe that’s what’s stopping me from pushing the button….not sure I can hold out much longer…certainly not long enough for NRNB anyway!
WH, PP & Sky all have win any race at Cheltenham books open already.
