That’s a real pity regards Caravaggio. So looking forward to seeing him as I think he looks a brilliant sprinter in the making. Such a superb looking horse.
He’s being aimed at a 3yo sprint race at Naas in 2 weeks time.
Surely you guys don’t actually believe that nonsense? What would Coolmore serve to gain from Winter beating Rhododendron? Winter was tipped up by Kevin Blake on the Final Furlong Podcast and then a few other tipsters cottoned on that she was too big a price – that’s why she shortened.
Lol do you seriously believe that she’s been cut massively because of some bloke on a podcast- it’s decent money from Ballydoyle and others in the know that has seen her hammered in price.
Do you think any bookie would actually lay big bets from anyone affiliated with Ballydoyle?

I see 2 of the 3 ‘lads’ are down at Newmarket and thus I’d expect Churchill to go off odds on.
Struggling to see much value in this market now for those who aren’t on something ante-post. Churchill is too much of an unknown given this will be his first run of the year and I find the other main contenders difficult to separate.
No chance of Churchill rolling up if he wins the Guineas & the Derby?
Not a chance that horse stays the Leger distance.
I thought that was fairly encouraging given the circumstances. Cracksman clearly doesn’t have a blistering turn of foot, so the pedestrian pace they went did not benefit him at all. I can only see significant improvement to come with another run under his belt and hopefully a considerable amount learned by his jockey.
I won’t be backing Cracksman today as my ante-post bet gives me enough interest and he’s a terrible price. However, and I know this is not something to pay too much heed to, but Jamie Spencer said the below in his 32Red blog:
I think we could all be playing for places if the vibes surrounding John Gosden’s Cracksman are correct, as he looked very good when winning at Newmarket last autumn. You do hear very good things about him.
Fingers crossed he’s the real deal.

So Barney Roy is now 16/1 for the Derby on Betfair, but they’ve mysteriously voided the money I had on him at big prices

I’ve emailed them but it’s a bit weird. Does anyone have experience of this?
I’m heading over to Newbury for the first time tomorrow and am looking forward to seeing some of these exciting 3 year olds. I’ve not done my video study yet, but my initial thoughts are that this should go to one of the Godolphin pair. Barney Roy I thought looked great when winning his maiden at Haydock over a mile and was subsequently purchased by the boys in blue, so they clearly hold him in high regard. Dream Castle quickened away like a smart horse the other week and is clearly race fit so I may lean towards him at this stage.

As mentioned elsewhere on this forum, Monarchs Glen’s performance at Kempton yesterday was very taking. Immediately cut to a best price of 25/1 for the Derby; he would look to be a serious contender.
There’s an Aidan O’Brien stable tour on the RP site, but unfortunately only available via the members club. I’m sure he’s not said much of note, but would be interested in hearing his comments on the 3 year olds if anyone can access.
Jonathan Portman tweeted after the race saying he didn’t think it was a true run from Mrs Danvers, citing her being in season and distressed as excuses.
