Surely you guys don’t actually believe that nonsense? What would Coolmore serve to gain from Winter beating Rhododendron? Winter was tipped up by Kevin Blake on the Final Furlong Podcast and then a few other tipsters cottoned on that she was too big a price – that’s why she shortened.

Lol do you seriously believe that she’s been cut massively because of some bloke on a podcast- it’s decent money from Ballydoyle and others in the know that has seen her hammered in price.

Do you think any bookie would actually lay big bets from anyone affiliated with Ballydoyle?

Tabor owns 100% of BV, so all he would have to do is instruct them not to take big bets on his fancies and he would be quids in anyway without having to place a bet.

The other thing I think is that Coolmore have such a massive advantage in terms of their breeding operation and they are so many light years ahead of anyone else, that even their third string are probably better than anyone else’s first string.

Or at least it seems that way.

The only advantage coolmore has is that they have Galileo who is the most amazing sire. Aidens greatest talent is getting horses to win the big races in the first run if the season. He’s done it so many times. Too much jealousy of coolmore. the sheikh’s have bucketloads of money but not the operation coolmore has. With cape cross now retired there is an even bigger advantage to coolmore. Galileo wont go on forever but the odds are on one of his offspring will replace him as champion sire.

You’re so right Mickey, one (fine) day Gallileo’s performance will start to decline..

They do have the best broodmare band as well, almost of these G1 winners are homebreds, and when the time comes, the dams can be switched to Australia, or Gleneagles, or Camelot, or Churchill, or whichever stallion(s) are starting to do the business. And each year, more G1 winning Galileo fillies join the broodmare band, and Galileo is proving to be a top broodmare sire.
