Al Boun photo finally has competition! And 2nd season novices have a great record in this.
He won the RSA jumping poorly, he’s not perfect but he’s much better jumper now on that evidence.
Minella indo and allaho haven’t blown the world away yet but been fairly good and I just think champ is just superior to those 2 given how he jumped and still beat them. He’s now a better jumper so for me, I think he’s a long way ahead of those 2 now and a big player here
Nice one gamble, really insightful post mate. Do you feel intelligent posting nonsense like that? Give yourself a pat on the back mate
This is one of the hotpots I’ll be trying to get beat this year. I think ballyadam is most likely to beat it. Appreciate it got the run of the race last time and ballyadam didn’t. Ignore ballyadam at Christmas as Gordon wasn’t firing. Plus better ground will suit ballyadam so that’s more than enough for me to be on him
Saint calvados 10/1 win Ryanair
Kilcrut won’t be running the supreme Steve. You’re wasting a point bet.
Think the market has the absolutely spot on for once.
Paisley Park and Thyme Hill totally different league to anything else here. Playing for 3rd if you bet anything else or your chancing that paisleys problem resurfaces. If the heart issue didn’t crop up last season and you ignore the run in the stayers hurdle we would be potentially talking about an all time great in the staying hurdle division and the fact that thyme hill is giving him a run for his money this season is not because Paisley has gotten worse but more that thyme hill is also some animal, I mean thyme hill was a bit unlucky not to win the Albert Bartlett last season and that form has been cranked so many times.
These 2 stand out and I honestly think this is the one race not to be going for a long shot each way but just going for the straight win as I really think it’s just 3rd place up for grabs here
Suprisingly seen positivity about using betfair exchanges in this thread, without realising that the exchanges will cease to exist if this £100 limit is in place. There will be zero liquidity in any market. You need big money to be able to lay sports especially horses and that simply won’t be able to happen under these new rules
Supreme – ballyadam 9/1 win bet365
Ballymore – gaillard du mesnil 10/3 winSorry I assumed my comment on energumene being a pace maker would be taken as tongue in cheek, thought that was obvious as a joke. Whereas as shipholla seems to be deadly serious. If he’s joking too then fair enough.
That’s the distinction I make of mine and his comments.
So take it easy jacky boy
Can totally take onboard if someone wants to lay Shishkin but atleast get the facts of your arguments correct.
Shipahollabolla I really do think you’re talking complete nonsense. Shishkin doesn’t have this ‘temperament’ you keep rattling on about. He races behind the bridle yes but some of the all time greats have had that trait. Altior being one of the most recent.
And for you to say abracadabras was the moral winner of the supreme is hilarious. You’re certainly in the minority there. Shishkin made a bad mistake down the back and Shishkin was hampered badly 2 out almost grinding him to a halt. To then get back up after that was nothing short of amazing.
Can we just say Willie Mullins wins

He’s on a whole new level this season above even things he’s achieved before. Give him everything bar the Arkle
So tired of arguemnets including the phrase ‘ Shishkin or any horse, hasn’t beaten much’
Horses are not responsible for the horse that line up against them. Shishkin finds loads of the bridle as we saw in the supreme so if Nico wanted to ask him for maximum effort in any of his races this season he could have won by many many more lenghts than he has won by. He’s thrashed everything in 3rd gear so far.
Energumene is a terrific pace setter for him I will definitely give you that. Couldn’t ask for a better pace maker
Well done mate you layed a 10/1 shot cracking shout
That was ultra impressive from energuemene!
Although few of its key rivals didn’t exactly get clear runs and Guiness fell and enrgeumene got a very easy lead and he jumped out to his right. So I hope people don’t overreact too much.
Shishkin will now be a bigger price which is ideal haha
As someone who’s on bravemansgame at 16/1, I think that Galliard run is the best bit of form for this not just by a little bit but by a lot! That was a seriously strong race and he’s won as he liked.
I think 3/1 Galliard for this is generous now, was blown awayArkle – captain guiness 20/1 each way
Festival chase – latest exhibition 10/1 each way
If every horse I bet jumped like Shishkin did today I’d certainly be making a lot more profit. His jumping was very good in the main.
The problem is some people make an opinion of a horse at an early stage and it’s hard for some people to admit they are ever in the wrong. The horse couldn’t be any more impressive his whole career and will win the arkle comfortably and probably go on the win the queen mother the following year but ship will still be unconvinced 😂- AuthorPosts
