Very nice. Lovely neat quick and efficient over the last 3 in particular and no sign of the back end corkscrewing that he had done at times before. He’s a beautiful smooth striding horse too.
I hope Energumene wins well at the DRF then…bring on the clash!!!
As close to a certainty as you can get. Energumene and Allmankind will give him a nice lead to between the last two, then it’s game over.
Don’t care how good the Mullins horse is – he is not going to beat Shishkin. Never out of second gear and his jumping is rock solid.
Eldorado Allen is decent and Shishkin just cruised away in a schooling canter. Impressed.
Tizzard yard is turning the corner , might be the time to start playing some of his horses , out of 2nd gear …he looks like he,s schooling out there

Deeply unconvincing again for me – shoddy jumping in the first half of the race and off the bridle on the home turn. Again found the turbos and made it look cosy by the line but will have more than a sick Tizzard horse to worry about in the Arkle. It’s a shame Cheddleton didn’t take part today, fancy he might have turned the upset.
Worrying shapes Shishkin was making, wonder if he has a back problem.
If he has a back problem, I would like to see him when he is OK.
One or two scratchy jumps in the early part of the race but I think you are exaggerating to say it was shoddy.
And I am not really bothered about him having to be chased along for a stride or two. If anything I prefer to see that. Not a fan of bridle horses. They often find nothing. He finds plenty.
Ship what race were you watching …back problem …sick Tizzard horse ? , he was never remotely off the bridle

If every horse I bet jumped like Shishkin did today I’d certainly be making a lot more profit. His jumping was very good in the main.
The problem is some people make an opinion of a horse at an early stage and it’s hard for some people to admit they are ever in the wrong. The horse couldn’t be any more impressive his whole career and will win the arkle comfortably and probably go on the win the queen mother the following year but ship will still be unconvinced 😂8/1 now to win this year Arkle and Champion Chase 2022
