It’s that time of year, Pricewise (Tom Segal) will be putting his CHELTENHAM ANTE POST SELECTIONS in print. We usually hold a little comp to see if we can do better.
First let’s lay down some ground rules.
1 This comp is open to everyone, just make your selections at the appropriate time.
2 Pricewise will select ten races. They are
1 Champion Hurdle
2 Champion Chase
3 Gold Cup
4 Stayer Hurdle
5 Supreme Novice Hurdle
6 Ryanair Chase
7 RSA Chase
8 Ballymore Novice Hurdle
9 Triumph Hurdle
10 Arkle
When he does you can put your selection for that race forward and not before.
3 It’s one selection per race, unless Tom adds a second selection in which case you can also add another one, but be aware that the stakes will be adjusted if you do.
4 Your selection can be win or Each Way. Each Way will be at quarter odds. If you don’t stipulate this then the default will be win
5 If Tom picks yours selection at better odds than you’ve got then it will be PRICE MATCHED.
6 The bookmakers used are THOSE THAT PRICEWISE USES ONLY.

2 Ladbrokes
3 William Hill
4 Betfair Sportsbook
5 Paddy Power
6 Coral
7 Betfred
8 Betway
9 Boylesportsor just state GENERALLY AVAILABLE or VARIOUS..
7 NON RUNNER NO BET Doesn’t count. Likewise any future selections made by PRICEWISE.
8 Unlike VTC ante post comp everyone starts on a level playing field of -20 points like when VTC ran this.

I think VTC will open the thread between Monday to Friday of the relevant week. I’ve no former knowledge of Pricewise selections just what’s published in the racing post website. If anyone knows his selections before I print them then you can put them forward on here to help out.

Don't mess with mister in between.Seems like ages but finally we’ve got a selection from Tom. In fact 2 selections so it’s up to you if you want 1 or 2 selections but remember that the stakes will be a total of 2 points for the race whatever you decide.
GOLD CUP
1 point win A PLUS TARD 10/1
0.5 point each way SAINT CALVADOS 50/1
He usually does CHAMPION HURDLE & CHAMPION CHASE as well so will be watching out for them, but if anyone spots them before me then feel free to post them as I’m working from Thursday onwards.
