Niice from Bob on tacky ground.
January 13, 2021 at 14:30 #1517438He looked good there Mike and seemed to meet a couple of hurdles a bit wrong so probably better again. Probably be good over a fence next year too, he’s a fine looking horse.
January 13, 2021 at 16:51 #1517459The two principles look to possess a lot of class and look certain to improve for a fence. Saying that I’d consider both to be less speedy than what’s usually required for this.
I’m probably still looking at this stage.
January 13, 2021 at 16:57 #1517461Bob ollinger must have a good bit of speed to go with ferny hollow for so long in what was a very slowly run race that turned into a sprint
January 13, 2021 at 19:56 #1517475Yep as FF91 says I’d say he’s got enough pace alright.

Hindsight is 20/20 so make the most of it!January 13, 2021 at 20:04 #1517480Today’s race wasn’t that strongly run either (visual impression, could be wrong)
January 16, 2021 at 16:14 #1517885Make Me a Believer didn’t do the Bear Ghylls form any harm at all today. Bob Ollinger looks the one to beat but if he can brush up on his jumping he looks to me to be the best of the British contingent so far. Taking Runswick Bay as a form line he’s got the beating of Bravemansgame (I know you can’t take it that literally) who I think is a bit short in the betting and we all know the dreaded Challow Hurdle stat. Maybe there is a small bit of pocket talking as he’s my biggest antepost punt for the fez but this beast has a serious engine and still showing signs of greenness.
February 1, 2021 at 23:21 #1520844I’m hoping that Cape Gentleman can book his place here at the weekend. Very impressed with him last time, and think he could be very decent.
I’m happy to go with him with NRNB crucial for betting him in this, as even with a big run at the weekend, he could go Albert Bartlett.
Cape Gentleman 20’s NRNB
February 6, 2021 at 13:34 #1521617As someone who’s on bravemansgame at 16/1, I think that Galliard run is the best bit of form for this not just by a little bit but by a lot! That was a seriously strong race and he’s won as he liked.
I think 3/1 Galliard for this is generous now, was blown awayFebruary 6, 2021 at 14:08 #1521648I would agree its by far the best piece of form
He looked to out speed a load of bartlett horses
This is going to be one of the best races at the festival
February 6, 2021 at 16:10 #1521739Dont discount Bob Olinger
. Is Mullins really going to win both Novice Hurdles?February 6, 2021 at 20:24 #1521809I agree, don’t. He’s done it before though, so why not?
He looked very very good today though.
