Currently listening to….
The two excellent albums by ‘The Libertines’.
Alas only two.
I know it’s a bit of a ‘Taboo’ to talk out of one’s pocket….so I’ll talk out of my Wifey’s instead.
She got a ‘Tip’ for a horse called Vivid Exposure in the 6.15 in Sligo on thursday and asked me to back it for her. Naturally I watched the race with interest and the ride Fran Berry gave this horse was disgraceful. He had his mount placed widest of the field all the way of the 1m4f trip, presumably searching for better ground. Ridiculously wide really. On a tight track like Sligo, the horse had to cover a very significant extra distance in search of the ‘better ground’. So much so as to more than just nullify the advantage gained by running on the fresh ground. A distinct disadvantage imo. All though the horse didn’t quite cover an extra "5 MILES" as M Chapman, of ATR, stated directly after the race…..
DJ Pressure live at ‘The Asylum’ (Dublin)….I found two recordings on the net. 1 from ’93 and 1 from ’94. Excellent sets. I was present for both of them. What a club!!!!!!! Mental spot. Yeeehaw!!!!!
Here they are if anyone is interested.

Only kiddin mate…nice bunch on here.
Anyways enjoy the forum.
Grimes watch the race again. You are far off the mark. Couldn’t be further infact. LS was NEVER boxed in. I just watched it again to be sure before replying to your post. She was on the outside but didn’t pick up when asked to. As at the Curragh she stuck on under pressure. Drifting over to the rail in the last furlong finishing 3rd.
I think they summed her run up just right on RUK.What a filly!!!!!!!!!
Pure Class.Amazing footage. My heart was racing watching it. WOW.
Is this the match where the favoured player retired with no obvious injury?
Love to have a go but the 500 words will be the hard part. Don’t think I have that many in my vocabualirilwy….

FROISSE Newmarket 2.25
Has given me the impression that this step up to 1m2f will suit her. Gd/Fm ground is an obvious worry as her two wins to date have come on Gd/Sft. As yet there is not enough evidence, imo, to say she can’t act on the surface. Looks a fair price.

Maybe you’d be happier if he was writing "banded racing is great for punters… 100% straight .. and easy to win on".
Steve
Now your just being silly.

SUPASEUS Goodwood 3.30
Had the top weight Pinpoint behind him in 2nd when winning a decent Hcap at Newmarket last May. I like this horse and get the feeling there is more to come from him.
2pts win 10/1 btdirect VCbt
Up with the leaders early but faded badly to be well beaten.

It’s a side of racing that bugs me. The unanswered question.
The horse brought down 3 out when travelling well. The horse trapped in with no where to go while galloping over all around. I’m a big fan of Teofilo and couldn’t wait for this season. Now we’ll never know how good a 3yo he would have been. Shame.- AuthorPosts
