How heart breaking it would be if he doesn’t line up in the 2000 guineas. Had the pleasure of being present at the Curragh for both his G2 futurity stakes and G1 national stakes wins. Prior to the national stakes I thought Holy Roman Emperor was going to be unbeatable but Teofilo was so impressive that day, I became  a fan. I made the trip to Newmarket for the last two days of the Champions meeting. Hanging over the rail at the parade ring before the dewhurst as he passed us my wife and I turned to each other and just said "WOW". The horse has such amazing presence. There were top class beasts on display that day, not to mention $9.7 Jalil from the previous day, but none were more impressive looking. Surely all racing fans crave a superstar. I really hope we haven’t seen the last of him. I know it’s reported as a "slight training setback" but I’m involved in a horse myself (Karakorum Highway) who had a similar "setback" early last week, turns out he’s out for 15 months now.<br>Anyway lets keep our fingers crossed for THE MONSTER.

racecourse commentators were obliged to start their commentary with " their under starters orders" but succesfully lobbied( if thats the right expression) to have it dropped a couple of years ago. would this be what your thinking of wallace? horses do still have to come under orders from the starter to be declared a runner.
how many finishers anyone?
