Otago Trail for me here. I don’t think Alary can cope with his weight and I cannot see Definitely Red win again with his current mark. Bristol de Mai should be the big danger.

Ruby Walsh in his blog at Paddy Power:

“Is there added pressure on the yard now that Cue Card is Gold Cup bound? I’d argue that from a trainer’s point of view, the more good horses you have in the race, the more chance you have of winning it. So it possibly eases the pressure a little bit. It’s a bit like playing poker – the more aces you have, the better chance you have of winning the hand. And Colin Tizzard holds most of the aces in the pack now.

But I’ll still be hoping to gate-crash the party on Djakadam.”

So, no Djakadam in the Ryanair probably.

Great news. I think he can do better then he did at Kempton.

I’ve taken the 7/1 at Betfair on Cue Card for the Gold Cup without Thistlecrack. Generous price in my opinion.

American just won a Listed Novice Chase at Warwick, beating Champers On Ice. Our Duke beat American over hurdles very easily in a Graded novice hurdle race at the back of last year.

American was very, very good over his fences.

Tomorrow we will see Champers on ice. Could be an interesting outsider here.

I’ve gone for Milansbar at 20/1. A second chance after a early mistake in the Welsh National.

Well, it seems more and more likely that Alpha des Obeaux does indeed run in the RSA Chase. Good news.

Get in if that’s true! Already looking to be worth 4 figures to me.

Been on it basically daily for the last month.

What makes you say this though? :yahoo:

I think I’ve just found the answer

I’d taken some 66 about Thistlecrack for the Million – shame they didn’t run him

wonder what his price will be for next year jockey club bonus. With this form I don’t think it will be higher then 10/1.

I’ve gone for ChTibello at 14/1 at the exchanges. He won easily last time against My Tent or Yours and he is young and keeps improving. I think he can produce the same level as The New One and might surprise here.
