Day 3 was a bit below par. Started great with Samcro winning, but then The Storyteller was just denied a win. Happy Diva was a nice EW winner, but no other succesful bets unfortunately.

Very impressive. I loved the camera side angel, he looked so powerful between the second and last.

Well done by Nichols and Politologue. But quite underwhelming for me in the end. Not even an Irish runner. A Plus Tard, Min and Cilaos Emery all could have won in my opinion, but that is being captain hindsight of course.

What a race. Champ was jumping very poorly, especially along the back. Can’t believe he still won. Surely if he can improve his jumping he must have a big chance in the Gold Cup next year.

Not the best of starts. Only Shiskin and some placed runners in the handicaps.

Well done winners. Vinndication ran a great race, but he had a few sloppy jumps and that might have cost him.

Well done winners. Don’t think it was a vintage edition, but fair play to Put the Kettle On.

Fantastic Shishkin! Not the easiest of passes, but he was very strong at the finish. Again, a bit reminiscent of the great Altior.

Also Lord du Mensil for me here. He is the highest rated horse, battle hardened, jumps fine and surely stays.

I think Hold the Note is the class horse here. He got outstayed at 3 miles over Warwick, but travelled like the winner. This trip will surely suit him better. I also like Champagne Mystery at a big price. He ran against some very decent horses, but he is still improving.

Roksana to be placed for me here. I think Benie will win, but she is too short. Roksana has a very decent Cheltenham record and I can see here finish at least 3rd.

I backed Cornerstone Lad a few months ago at 50/1 for this. He is still a big price. I really dont see why is much bigger then most of the others. I think the form overall is really poor. So I will give Cilaos Emery a shot. I like his chase form and his one hurdle was good too.

I ended up wit the two favourites. I backed Vinndication last month as I think he is a grade 1 horse. Only worry is that he might be better going righthanded. Discorama might not be grade 1 level, but I think he is close to that. He also has very good festival form and has a nice weight.
