Usually taken by a good Irish novice and that’s the angle I’ve gone with. The Passing Wife was boosted to 20s with 365 on Wednesday but he’s now best priced 12s
February 21, 2026 at 00:57 #1755502My shortlist for this is so long, that no point listing them all
The one I have bet though is Dedicated Hero. There’s surely bigger plots in there, and I’d say he’s more likely to be targetted at Coral Cup, pending his run at Kelso, but can’t let him go at the price
Dedicated Hero 66’s EW NRNB
Final Decs
One of my favourite races of the week, but not strong on anything
Hot Fuss 25’s
Nurse Susan 16’sFebruary 22, 2026 at 13:10 #1755901I’ve gone for sonogino in this 50s with Paddy power. Not as confident as wud have been in the coral cup with it but still think it’s a good chance here
March 12, 2026 at 21:54 #1759201Fiercely Proud enjoyed the step up in trip last time at Ascot. Gonna back him again.

March 13, 2026 at 14:22 #1759424After seeing Wilful win the County (and what a good result for that race it was, not being one of the usual suspects), and Alexei’s good show in the Champion Hurdle, the form of that Ascot handicap just before Christmas looks hot.
(Race result at https://www.racingpost.com/results/2/ascot/2025-12-20/907815).
Hot Fuss split those two that day and then beat Wilful at Windsor next, and hasn’t been punished too much by the weights. I’m going in.
March 13, 2026 at 14:27 #1759428Joined you, QF.
Hot Fuss 20s win only (BOG)
March 13, 2026 at 14:44 #1759438Imperial Cup winner was 4th in that Ascot race too, very hot form. Hot Fuss ran very well in the Fred Winter too last year. Lots to like if he stays the trip ok.
March 13, 2026 at 17:05 #1759617Air Of Entitlement is my main fancy for this though De Bromheads form has tamed expectations somewhat. I’d love to see Nurse Susan win it though and she has a half decent jockey onboard unlike a lot of the others.
Air Of Entitlement 16/1
Roc Dino 10/1
Nurse Susan 33/1
Hot Fuss 64/1March 13, 2026 at 17:09 #1759621Got the scattergun out for the ews on the last
