Didn’t think Bow Echo would be odds against after his emphatic Guineas win.
Gstaad won the Irish equivalent and draw, track, going here will be different but at the prices I’m all over Bow Echo 11/10Gaelic Warrior Gold Cup Winner 2026

June 15, 2026 at 22:06 #1768968Talk of New York to do em while the big two focus on each other . If not I hope Bow Echo bolts home and we see a superstar in the making .
June 16, 2026 at 15:56 #1769096Haven’t bet in this. Instead, I’m just gonna sit back, savour the race and watch Bow Echo show the world why he’s the best miler in recent years.
June 16, 2026 at 15:59 #1769097No bet either but rooting for Bow Echo.
The more I know the less I understand.
June 16, 2026 at 16:02 #1769099Puerto Rico for me, and I’ve put him in a rev f/c with Gstaad as well.
June 16, 2026 at 16:28 #1769106That’s weird: he still looks very green, but came there on the bridle looking as though he was going to win by four lengths.
June 16, 2026 at 16:29 #1769107He pulled quite hard, Billy looked a bit too confident towards the end. A good winner of the race, but nowhere near Frankel and not even close to King Of Gibraltar or Kingmambo.
Well done winners
June 16, 2026 at 16:31 #1769109Honest by Billy Loughnane there. I think Ryan Moore on Gstaad rode a better race but Bow Echo is the better horse.
June 16, 2026 at 16:31 #1769110Well done everyone on
June 16, 2026 at 16:32 #1769111Frankel wasn’t at his best in this race to be fair.
June 16, 2026 at 16:33 #1769112Messy race Gstaad took a shorter route but pleased Bow Echo toughed it out.
The more I know the less I understand.
June 16, 2026 at 16:40 #1769115There was no need for that aggressive riding from Egan early on. His horse had no chance of beating the top 2.
Thankfully we still got a great race in the end. Gstaad beginning to remind me of Giants Causeway now. He’s a real warrior whereas Bow Echo is a more classy sort.
June 16, 2026 at 16:49 #1769118That was Gstaad’s chance to beat Bow Echo. I think the Sussex Stakes will suit Bow Echo more than the O’Brien horse. Can’t have any of the 4 y/o’s in that either

June 16, 2026 at 17:06 #1769121I suppose we’re left with the question was Gstaad below his best at Newmarket or was Bow Echo below his best today? I’m more inclined to believe the former, the 126 OR Bow Echo got felt over the top. Time will tell I guess. They haven’t exactly pulled 10L clear of the ridiculously badly ridden Power Blue or the complete rag who has surely ruined his handicap mark for the sake of a nice day out.
June 16, 2026 at 20:25 #1769169I see Soumillon has been given an eight day ban for bumping into Power Blue to “assist” Gstaad’s run up the rail.
The more I know the less I understand.
June 16, 2026 at 23:15 #1769176Considering he was practically breaking his neck early on gawking round to see where Gstaad was it’s not a surprise. Nul points for subtlety.
