Already lashing it down here, Mike (North Bristol). Guess Chelt will get the same; main Q is how long it lasts and if tom morn it’s gone, with sun and a strong drying breeze?
March 12, 2026 at 19:54 #1759150The race is missing the intrigue that Galopin Des Champs and Fact To File would have brought to the party, but it’s a binding, open renewal all the same.
I’ve missed any kind of price on The Jukebox Man, so I’ll just will him home. Similar sentiments to Haiti Couleurs, but I reckon he might just drift so I’ll wait and see on him.
I’ll probably just have some each way fun with old friends L’Homme Presse and Envoi Allen.

March 12, 2026 at 21:03 #1759182Couldn’t split Haiti or Jango, so going with Firefox. It looks a big ask to be fair

March 12, 2026 at 22:30 #1759210No Galopin des Champs remains disappointing. I like Gaellic Warrior, but still think he is a little bit less effective going lefthanded and you can’t wint the Gold Cup at 95%. Worry that The Jukebox Man doesn’t stay the trip and for Haiti Couleurs my worry he was off his feet at his only attempt in a grade 1.
Which means I ended up with Jango Baie. Winner at the Festival last year and I do feel he will stay the trip. Last year I had a nice ante post bet at a big price for the Brown Advisory. So hopefully he can pay back for that.
Also added L’Homme Presse. Old Pal of mine and he ran decent enough this year. I can see him running into the top 3. He will stay forever.
Jango Baie 11/2
L’Homme Presse 50/1 EWMarch 12, 2026 at 23:08 #1759223“Couldn’t split Haiti or Jango”

March 13, 2026 at 11:13 #1759296Spillane Tower withdrawn
March 13, 2026 at 12:05 #1759314What reasons been given , I’ve played Haiti and last year’s winner again ( he’s also in a double with Heart Wood ) and I’ve Jukebox antepost in a couple of bets , antepost if Haiti wins I should retire as I’ll never match this , on a sour note I had to back Gaelic for my mum …. I felt dirty
