I guess it’s back to Chepstow for Haiti Couleurs…..
March 13, 2026 at 16:37 #1759585Jesus the person on the BBC live text has had a nightmare.
Jukebox Man, having looked well placed until the penultimate fence, ultimately finished eighth.
A bit Spursy?
This 5 mins after reporting Envoi’s death in the same live text.
I thought it was poor taste even without that context. Harry and the horse shouldn’t be mocked like that.
March 13, 2026 at 16:37 #1759586Hi Ben, hope you’re enjoying life wherever you are.
March 13, 2026 at 16:38 #1759587He can still win some graded races in heavy , next season will be Aintree though , prob is will the ground be to fast

March 13, 2026 at 16:39 #1759588Cheers HDLG and green, wonderful thankyou, married to an amazing woman now and living in London, we’ve actually just bought a holiday home on Lake Como! And currently doing training to become a Psychotherapist! How are things on your end?
March 13, 2026 at 16:41 #1759593Thoughts with Envoi’s connections, especially his groom.
GW has clocked a very fast final time of 6m 39.02s (fast by 10.98s) – to compare, Long Run’s course record is 6m 29.70s.
The ground is probably between good and good to soft after the rain burst likely making it a bit loose on top.
March 13, 2026 at 16:44 #1759596Not as good as yours Ben by the sounds of it , I’m awaiting a mauling as I spent the winter saying Gaelic couldn’t win , glad life’s shining on you
Pick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026
March 13, 2026 at 16:49 #1759598Cheers pal, if it makes you feel any better I bet on Gaelic Warrior twice, once when he lost that original Cheltenham handicap hurdle and the second time I had an ante-post bet on him 2024 Stayers hurdle! That’s racing isnt it! Chuffed for Nathan and the winners though!
March 13, 2026 at 16:51 #1759601I’ve had a cracking week antepost so have no right to complain , do you still have a bet
Pick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026
March 13, 2026 at 16:54 #1759603I don’t mate which is for the better! Happy to hear you’ve had a blinder though, put the winnings into next years ante post haul!
March 13, 2026 at 16:57 #1759606That’s guaranteed to lose it , I’ll have a nice lunch and buy the stepdaughter something …. I say that knowing I’m already looking at 2027 and have 6 in the national , good luck with the training
Pick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026
March 13, 2026 at 17:03 #1759613Very decisive, could have been called a long way out; still only 8, seems to have been around forevr. And took in all the top races this year, all hard ones (except for today).
March 13, 2026 at 17:04 #1759614Good to hear you are enjoying life, Ben. Don’t blame you for packing in the betting!
March 13, 2026 at 17:06 #1759618We are all to thick to do likewise
Pick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026
March 13, 2026 at 17:16 #1759624I need to give it up one bloody winner

The more I know the less I understand.
March 13, 2026 at 17:18 #1759625Nick Luck on RTV just spoke to Director of Equine Saftey and Welfare and he said it was a cardio vascular collapse that happened as he came back down the walkway.
He went on to say the vets had checked him (as they do with all the horses) before he started making made his way back down the walkway from the course but then said that the incident happened quickly at the bottom end of the walkway and although the vets got to him quickly they confirmed that he passed very quickly after the incident.
Ultimately he went out on his shield but clearly we all would have much preferred a long and happy retirement for him.
Envoi Allen, thank you for all the wonderful memories you left us with….RIP
March 13, 2026 at 17:19 #1759629Your the Elliott of TRF bend .. I doubt I’ve insulted anyone more on here with that , on the positive it’s not long to Aintree ….
