He’s being punted in BigG!
Librisa Breeze friendless on here for the sprint? I couldn’t let my trusty old friend make the trip to such exotic lands and go unbacked:
Librisa Breeze 10-1 EW
They kindly let me have 25p

Chuffed with Supasundae there! Not quite sure what to make of the race in terms of how well/badly both the winner and Faugheen ran

Got Min, Petit Mouchoir, Supasundae EW, Brace Yourself/Minella Encore onside today, some speculative enough bets there but enough doubts over many at the head of the markets to justify most of these bets – kept stakes fairly small…
Hard not to love him, he just won’t lie down will he!
Hugh Taylor put it up this morning at 8/1 so you’ve nabbed a very tidy price there indeed!
She’s an absolute star!
Worth taking on in my opinion. The ground looks really soft and very sticky today. She ran her “worst” races on this kind of ground and has another 4 furlongs to travel. I doubt she will stay 3m in today’s conditions.
I wasn’t convinced she’d stay it either and hence didn’t bet her, but stay she did. She is some mare, so gutsy and although she had plenty to make up in the final furlong I somehow just “knew” she’d get there – she’s that kind of horse. The Mares Hurdle is not always the most well-regarded race at Cheltenham but I’ll never forget her bravely holding off the Mullins runners either side and getting her head in front on the run in… she’s an absolute cracker

Today’s race so sadly marred by the loss of Nichols Canyon, a trooper of a horse in his own right. I always feel even worse when a horses passes over hurdles as I always consider them so much safer a form of jump racing… RIP Nichols Canyon.
The complicated part is trying to work out if I won or lost on Boxing Day. 5/4, 6/4, 6/1, 6/1 and 10/1 winners along with 13 losers. Two of the losers were bigger bets and only one of the winners (5/4) was towards the upper end of my staking. I also had a losing multi.
I *think* I’m something like 4pts ahead at the end of all that. Ballin’! 😀
Just broke away from the family shenanigans so I’m about to get started on tomorrow’s racing.
Do you not use a bet tracker LS3?
I’ve used this for the last 8 months or so, couldn’t live without it now https://bettin.gs/
the free version is fine for testing it out but for proper E/W integration the paid version ($12 USD a month I think)is well worth it, tracks ROI, daily and monthly returns, draws fancy graphs and all sorts. My monthly pofit/loss graph often resembles the Himalayas

.
Backed Go Conquer for this

Was travelling very well I thought until that horror fence – what’s the consensus of how he’d have got on overall? Moot point I guess… but go on, tell me he’d have won by a furlong

Not much joy all round on here after this one – Air Horse One ran no kind of race really, fairly prominent early and then dropped away quickly, never in contention.
Did anyone have the winner? Well done to anyone that picked up place money. I’ve done my bollocks today, worst day’s punting for a long time!
Cracking stuff from the winner – I’ve always loved a bold front runner and he certainly fits the bill. Of course the key to front-running is not getting nabbed late on and he seems to have the engine to keep pressing on – “relentless” was the commentator’s word and very apt it was – L’ami had every chance and Harry plugged away gamely for 3rd but a thoroughly deserved win for the young buck

Harry on the nose (2/1) , L’ami EW (11/2) – what could possibly go wrong?

Air Horse One E/W at 12/1 for me – handicapper isn’t being kind to him but he’s a fave of mine – drop back to 2 miles might help with the weight and he’s a game sort who’s normally in the mix, looks a reasonable price to me
ScumBets have apparently just paid out on Might Bite to win this
