Frodon 11/1 for me. Ran a decent race behind Top Notch and Double Shuffle and I think the trip will suit. Looks well handicapped, especially with Bryony Frost.
December 23, 2017 at 15:16 #1333685WD KevMcA, he did that well, nice jump at the last and both horses good battling qualities fairly well clear of the rest.
December 23, 2017 at 15:18 #1333687Well played Kev, nice winner that.
December 23, 2017 at 16:01 #1333691TOP STUFF KEV

Bugger !! My two finished third and fourth!! Grrrrrrrrrr
December 23, 2017 at 17:15 #1333702Backed Go Conquer for this

Was travelling very well I thought until that horror fence – what’s the consensus of how he’d have got on overall? Moot point I guess… but go on, tell me he’d have won by a furlong
December 23, 2017 at 18:52 #1333719Well done, Kev. Has the makings of a decent horse.
December 23, 2017 at 20:36 #1333739Backed Go Conquer for this 😥

Go Conquer was my bet for this too, but I have no idea where he would have finished but for that calamity. For sure, he was going well and seemed to be enjoying himself so who knows.
I thought On Tour’s run was very strange indeed. What do they do with him?
December 23, 2017 at 23:12 #1333759They might try putting him in the race next time Charles.
Wonder if they enquired into his riding instructions, looked dodgy.
Not been at right handed track for two years, flat and left handed might be his bag.
December 24, 2017 at 00:11 #1333767Thanks all. Really like him, jumps from fun. Had some 50s for the National straight after, looks perfect for him.
December 24, 2017 at 00:25 #1333770The winner seems an impressive presence but Henderson is in form, not sure Nicholls is and Frodon’s effort was very good in the circumstances.Hope handicapper drops 007 a little, should be enough to see him be competitive in good handicaps

Very much looks the type but I fear Nicky has ballsed it up again. He’ll go up a lump for today.
December 24, 2017 at 02:13 #1333783Well done Kev / Steeple…..all winners.
No surprise anything in the stable improves minus Mcgrath.
Two of hendo should have won at the festival, both ridden by him, managed to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory on both,a liability for such a high profile stable. - AuthorPosts
