I’ve had numerous 2nds this week, maybe my luck will turn in the Arc.

if you are hitting a lot of crossbars it shows you are a good punter, when mine lose they tend to either get lapped or are tailed off

having said that I had rory in the golf today and he finished second, frustrating as was a 1.9k swing 🙁

I had Paul Dunne EW for about £600 returns but laid off about £200 of it as I saw Rory mounting a challenge!

Is this thinly veiled I won but you didn’t, what a nob.

Nothing of the sort – just joining in the golf chat – friendly ****** ain’t ya!

    Twat.

Plenty of bookies do BOG in-store as I’ve pointed out above – perhaps others can elaborate on any others who offer it?

On the rare occasions I watch a race in-store at somewhere like Hills I pity the old boys sitting there taking SP right before the off – taking the price with BOG is a no-brainer in getting some precious value off the bookies…

Hi Brixton, I know it hurts a bit when you lay off to cover your bet, and it comes in anyway, but
you definitely made the right decision. You are making yourself almost certain to get a good
return for either and that’s most certainly the name of the game in betting. I’ve no doubt if
you do this that the result will flip around some times, and then you’ll be patting yourself
on the back for being a smarty pants :good:

Very true! And happy enough with the end result.

Hey Brixton boy well done and you should visit my golf thread on here at general sports on my sports bet thread

Will do! Had Tyrell Hatton EW too who looked nailed on to place but just missed out… still made a decent profit overall!

Apologies for thread disruption! Will head over to General from now on to discuss men knocking balls around with a stick ;-)

Paddy Power are BOG in-store from 11am-1pm daily so you can take the price safely

Ladbrokes are normally BOG in-store on 2 meetings daily from 11am, other meetings are often BOG for Grid customers only

Betfred are normally BOG in-store on 2 meetings daily as well, from opening time I think

It amazes me how Hills have such a share of the market when they are pretty much the worst in-store bookie

I have to place quite a lot of bets in-store as many of my online accounts are BOG- restricted or stake restricted. Paddy and Betfred are normally my first port of call…

Great shout on Bateel Joni – had a play after seeing how much you liked him here – didn’t watch as at home so had to watch the odds on BF exchange – but cheers! :good:

Already backed Harry Angel for this ante-post as thought he couldn’t possibly go bigger than 9/4, pretty amazed to see 5/2 readily available now, even with the ground concerns. He’s a bullet of a horse and after a decent payday for me when I was sure he’d reverse form with Caravaggio LTO I’m happy to go in again – may top up if he continues to drift, and possibly look at a saver on Brando.

Very impressive from Herculean – Moore had to niggle him along halfway in but once he picked up he looked a strong type with a powerful stride. Very striking looker too with 4 white socks!

I nabbed a bit at Hills at 40/1 for the 2000 Guineas straight after watching…

    oh… and errrr… hi from a n00b :bye:
