Frontiersman’s the one to beat in this one… I think he will keep progressing and win again, and I’ve done a Straight Forecast with Algometer on 2nd place.
Good luck to everyone!
VERBAL DEXTERITY 33/1
Normally at Ascot you see the Coventry winner be fav for this race but doubt this years winner will get a 1m trainer think 7f be best trip for him.A filly won the Chesham when you think the guineas winner won that race last year. There is irish derby this week and normally at that maiden a smart 2yo comes alive.
But for me this Bolger horse looks a really good horse won maiden by 9L and yes might not be strong race the best thing about it was way he finish he just power away in final furlong. when he run in group races this year i see there be faster horses than him in early part of race but when it comes to final furlong i do doubt if any finish like him. when you think AOB has not so far got a top 2yo colt i get the feeling he try and convert a derby horse into a guineas type. And think Bolger could win 2000 guineas again.
Any views guys
I was so impressed by his maiden win and he had a good race on a shorter distance than what he wants. I’ve had a bet on him at 25/1 and I rarely do ante-post, but too impressed by him.
Not a fan of Clemmie so far.
At this point in time the two horses that impressed me most are the 1/2 in the Albany, so I would go with either of them (in the case that September doesn’t run in this, and that’s a big if)Highlight(s) –
Lady Aurelia
The Commonwealth CupLowlight(s) –
Some idiot throwing a beer at Appeared/Atzeni
And gotta agree with stilvi on the draw thing.More impressed by the runner-up than the winner considering everything.
Buckstay 20-1 EW
Edward Lewis 14-1 WINwow
I was on Glencadam Glory @26 EW
You all know how he finished

First two were very very impressive.
I got some nice EW money with Mistress Venice @101 thanks to Bet365 improved terms. Ran a stormer in 4th.
Any news on Blue Point since he beat Harry Angel? I assume Charlie is very happy with him at home and didn’t feel the need to get another race into him.
Caravaggio at odds on is a dangerous bet but I don’t think any of us really know what to expect tomorrow. Blue Point is 5/2 without Caravaggio and Harry Angel 6/4.
Leaning towards the 5/2 for BP at this moment in time.Yeah, I think I will get on this as well
What a race. Can’t wait to see what happens!!!
No matter who wins I just hope they all run to their best!Looks a good renewal this year. Had a couple of Ante Post bets on this.
First bet is Stradivarius @ 33’s E/W.
Could be a potential big improver stepping up in trip, reminds me a lot of Eagle top who won at this meeting a few years ago.
Also backed Haripour @ 16’s to win. A half brother to Harzand who has been quite disapointing in Ireland, until winning a maiden 3 weeks ago at Navan with blinkers on for the first time. Appears to of been a bit of a Weld punt as he was 33/1 a few days ago.
Not sure what will happen with Stradivarius but Hugh tipped him and he’s right now at around 9/1, so you definitely got great value!
A tough race, the first two in the betting are criminally short.
I was having a look at Good Omen. His trip to Meydan didn’t work out but he has found the winning thread and showed some early promise last year. He has a highish draw though and Simcock just landed the previous race, so what odds a double at a meeting like this. Oh well, I can’t leave him at 20/1 for a sporting shot.
Good Omen 20/1
Was on Good Omen as well and a bit dissapointed at the way he was ridden, but well, that’s what can happen when Spencer rides. I do think he’s worth another shot, especially if the ground is soft.

Can’t feel but think Moore lost this one, they let BO have too big of a lead.
Anyway, I had some money on BO at 9’s and happy with the return.
I agree with you Kris, Edward Lewis is progressing and could be a darkhorse if ends up in the race.
Not sure if Watchable will run, but he’s putting on some good performances lately and could be a good play for some E/W money.
I think I will side with Waldgeist too
Hard to look past the 3 favs but I might throw a few pennies on Dream Castle @26
Is he aimed at this race or the jersey stakes?
