De Rasher Counter the latest to be ruled out for the season with a tendon injury. Hard luck to those on him, some fancy prices too

Charlie i’m not sure about TBB having more natural class than Native River. However, TBB is definitely being minded whereas Native River thrived on racing in his earlier days, though not so much these days.
I do like TBB a lot but i think he’s the sort who will get better and better with age as Native River did. 25/1 is a fair price for this though

I’d be tempted by the 6/1 for Imperial Alcazar if i knew he was fit. I thought he’d go chasing which makes me think this might just be a pipe-opener before he heads down that route, although he finally gets the 3 mile trip that he wants and Fergal’s are usually fit first time out.
Wholestone looks overpriced at 18s. Better than a handicapper and i can always forgive a horse a poor run on seasonal reappearance.
Edit: Took 6/1 for Imperial Alcazar as FOB Twitter has pretty much confirmed he runs on Saturday barring a setback.
Nice to be off the mark, although Saint Sonnet has already been consigned to the transfer list and i’m eagerly awaiting the transfer window to get him out!
TBB reminds me of Native River, both in looks and the way he jumps and travels. I can see the Tizzard’s taking a similar route with him i.e. going for the old 4 miler rather than RSA.
My confidence in Monkfish has increased without him having jumped a fence in public.
No worries re the reporting error.
You’re entitled to your opinion Robbo, time will tell if you’re right. I’m willing to take my chances and get the vaccine, if required, in the hope that it will mean life can get back to ‘normal’ asap.
I see my post has been reported for inappropriate content. Not sure how or why but i have no qualms with it being deleted if deemed necessary.
I’m not sure that believing a virus (that clearly exists) exists is particularly stupid. I’m not sure being asked to wear a mask when out in public is all that similar to being marched off to a concentration camp either.
I also fail to see what the government are gaining out of greatly increasing national debt and how come all of a sudden the USA and China et al, who have previously been involved in a trade war, are now singing from the same hymn sheet re this ‘fake virus’ and international government reform at the expense of freedom of people

There’s being held up to get some cover and then there’s being nearly a hurdle behind. I’m forced into backing him next time now given how little chance he was given today!

I’d be similarly upset if I’d backed Tegerek. He’s another that wasn’t given a chance to win. He did well to place from so far back.
Good performance from PTKO, toughed it out well. Was great to see DDG back to form too and proving his previous Arkle win was no fluke.
DDS needs better ground but Hobbs looks like he’s barely put any pre-training into some of his better ones. Sporting John and Defi barely performed to half of their ability.
I don’t think we learned anything at all from the race regarding the Champion Hurdle. Abacadabras got there too soon and was idling. We already know he wants better ground. Saint Roi didn’t settle, didn’t jump well and was boxed in when it mattered.
Suppose we learned Jason The Militant is a genuine contender too.
Good call Jeff and anyone else who backed the winner.
I’m going to be a typical bitter punter and criticise Ton Cannon for an atrocious ride on Edwardstone. Let the leaders poach a 20 length lead and was happy sitting that far back all the way around. It was either an appalling ride or a considered decision to lose on purpose with another target in mind. Where’s the sour grapes emoji

I so want to bet Native River for this but his owners really don’t like the race and i don’t think he’ll run. Such a shame that the best jumper in training won’t run in a race that is tailor-made for him due to unfounded safety concerns. He’d be out in front anyway!
Sorry but anyone who believes that COVID is some sort of international government conspiracy to introduce a new world order under the pretext of protection from a (mildly) deadly disease have taken leave of their senses. A bit like the freaks who turned up to ‘defend statues’ that were never under threat

Shame to see some non-runners due to the ground. I think Edwardstone will run as 3 of his 7 career starts have been on soft or heavy
I’m a big fan of DDS but i think he’s vulnerable today. Most of Hobbs’ are needing the run, a lot of them quite badly. I think PTKO should be favourite and will win. I’m happy to watch rather than bet though at the odds.
I’ve been keen on the chances of Edwardstone for this since his run in the Supreme in March. I’ve put my money where my mouth is too with a fair bit on him (by my standards). However i’m starting to have last minute doubts with the weather we’ve seen today and the likelihood the track will be even more testing tomorrow. He’d definitely prefer better ground and there are a few in here that are race fit, namely Tegerek, Ballyandy and The Shunter.
