TTM, yeah, Harambe a big price, but agree with your concerns over his fragility. The main reason why I’m not betting him Antepost.
November 11, 2020 at 18:22 #1510399Sir Psycho look like a big price to me at 20-1, so I will side with him here.
November 13, 2020 at 13:55 #1510529Avery close race and I’d be pleased to get something in the first four. My selection is Milkwood, lightly raced, progressive and ran a very decent race against the best company he has faced last time at Ffos Las. I would hope there remains something in the tank and looks worth a dig at around 22/1.
More proven at the level, second choice is Hunters Call (general 12/1), given a rest since a decent effort at Galway at the end of July.November 13, 2020 at 20:11 #1510570By holding off, I’ve missed a few points on Harambe, but flipside is I didn’t have a wasted bet on Main Fact.
Could’ve got 25’s Harambe, but looks unlikely I’ll get close to that now. I’ll hold off and see if I can get 20’s.
I’m going with three here, so I’ll cut back with the EW’s.
Mentioned Tudor City at the entry stage, and happy with the 40’s, while the 14’s is big enough for Ballyandy, who ran well enough at Ffos Las, and should be competitive here.
Ballyandy 14’s
Harambe 16’s
Tudor City 66’s EW 6 PlacesNovember 13, 2020 at 22:02 #1510581The Shunter looks like a really big price to me at 14-1. He’s been in good form the last few months, and I’m happy to see that Robbie Power has been booked.
November 14, 2020 at 16:43 #1510710I’ve been keen on the chances of Edwardstone for this since his run in the Supreme in March. I’ve put my money where my mouth is too with a fair bit on him (by my standards). However i’m starting to have last minute doubts with the weather we’ve seen today and the likelihood the track will be even more testing tomorrow. He’d definitely prefer better ground and there are a few in here that are race fit, namely Tegerek, Ballyandy and The Shunter.
November 15, 2020 at 07:42 #1510741Tegerek ew 6 places.
Ground is starting to turn heavy on the hurdles track.
November 15, 2020 at 08:09 #1510743Make that 5 places.
Nicholls fancy now a NR. Wonder if Edwardstone might be another one.
November 15, 2020 at 09:31 #1510748Shame to see some non-runners due to the ground. I think Edwardstone will run as 3 of his 7 career starts have been on soft or heavy
November 15, 2020 at 09:41 #1510750Added Ballyandy ew as well.
November 15, 2020 at 10:19 #1510757I’ll wait and see what happens with the extra ew places here, as I think that there will be more withdrawals, so I’ve only bet win at the moment
Cormier 20-1, and Countister 25-1
November 15, 2020 at 11:32 #1510770Harambe for me here at 14/1. Won this in similar conditions one year ago. Big price to find out if he can go again.
November 15, 2020 at 11:42 #1510774Ballyandy is so tough and consistent I can’t see him not running a big race, even with top weight.
Harambe wasn’t beaten when being brought down last time out, so there’s still hope he can be competitive off this mark. 20/1 this morning is a massive price.
They’d be my two.
November 15, 2020 at 11:46 #1510776Ballyandy for me 15/2 e/w
Wouldn’t surprise me if he was beaten by a more exposed type but with 6 places it’s hard to see him out of it
November 15, 2020 at 13:39 #1510790Ballyandy is price wise and I can see running a big race , I’ve backed Thinking , long layoff but it’s interesting he,s been thrown in here and a wind op as well , won on bad ground to
Pick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026
November 15, 2020 at 14:05 #1510795Harambe @ 21 & Tudor City @ 95
November 15, 2020 at 15:00 #1510820I’ve gone for Strong Glance whose stamina and race fitness might come in handy, and Ballinsker who should have plenty of improvement in him, both ew 5pl
Good luck all
