Mdina had plenty, some very strong looking onesJust got back from Gozo…. They had an Izi Bet… The lady supposed to be behind the counter was outside on her phone and the machine was two Euros minimum bet but 5 Euros minimum to put in the machine. We are an hour ahead over here so it was the early dog racing and I wasn’t putting 5 euros on something I had no clue about. I dog I would have bet jumped out first and led all the way before getting collard on the line. I saved myself 5 euros or 2 euros as that was all I wanted to put on it….

Our taxi driver to the airport, several years back, owned a racehorse and spent the whole journey talking about him and showing us pictures.
Turns out it’s trotting that’s big in Malta and he was one of the top in his Grade..I think he mentioned a racetrack on Gozo where his horse was taking part.
