Yes he is diabolical jumper…really really bad.

Never seen such a poor Jumper for a gold cup winner.

Not convinced however that its all the horse but alas we will find out soon enough

I accept that Sam Whaley Cohen is the rider.

What I do not accept is people telling me he is a good jockey, he is not a very good and no amount of spinning by the racing media will ever change this. He does not get the best out of this horse i am convinced 100%

The Great Quito De La Roque will win hopefully for connections and be on his way to first of many Gold Cups.

People throwing abuse at Ruby is bizarre.

Rock on Ruby had no right to win yesterday…and nearly did. First off the bridle and still only lost by 1/2l.

I said last year this Jockey would cost this Horse greatness and i so sorry to be proved right.

What on earth is wrong with him, the horse roots everyfence yet still keeps going. Its such a shame for undoubtedly a superstar Chaser.

Then again its great to see real skill and horsemanship awarded like Ruby Walsh then someone who looks like Paddy Mullins in the saddle, wailing and arms everywhere. Oh its just awful to watch.

Just shows you, that Horsemanship is still incredible important. Of Course its not all the Jockeys fault but lets face it, he gives the horse no help what so ever. And is at least half a stone inferior than Ruby Walsh….makes all the difference.

Menorah jumped great until he fell on his chasing debut.

Menorah could not even beat Oscar Whiskey never mind Thousand Stars(improving). Hurricane Fly will beat him even further than last year if he was to go down that route.

Why would you run a horse like Menorah after a fall that he had at Top Weight in a handicap over Hurdles??. Why?? I don’t understand what has to be gained from that. In fact that imo will have finished the horse for the year.

The same craic with Wishful Thinking setting what can only be described as a suicidal pace last weekend and ended up nearly choking near the end.

Hobbs/Johnson really are making a mess of the Wheatley’s Horses.

Very good performance and really delighted for connections.

Tom George really is a good trainer IMO.

Philip Hobbs training of Menorah really begs the question.

Horse is soo soo good. Still only 6.

Should be going for the Ryanair, trainer making a mess of him going for the Lexus. He is still 6 years old Robbie Hennesey not 10. Where is the rush let him grow up.

I feel for the future of this horse under the care of such a man. He can train and the jury is out if he is a good one but please Robbie dont make a bad mistake on taking on the Unbeatable Quito De La Roque over 3 miles at a stiff track on deep ground with a horse as good as this.

    Wait your turn…;

    Good….in fact great.

Botti Fantastic trainer. He knows the game and will have got a nice little sum in his back pocket no doubt as will he have got a nomination a year after the horse retires.

AOB however is different league for these Group 1 Horses 8)

    Fair play to him.

Not a fool either…unlike his cousins across the gulf in Dubai.

Get EPSN documentary on Charasmatic the horse that nearly won the American Triple Crown in the 90’s.

    Great story.

    Why get rid of it?

Its a spectacle for old horse that lost there way. Just like the Hunter chase.

Maybe these sort of people want to change Beechers or the Chair into a normal fence.

Game is on a slippery slope with madness like this.

Happy retirement to a proper 3 Mile Chaser.

However people are sick, sick for not pointing out Harry Findlay, where is Harry??. Harry gave this horse more colour than any owner the game has ever seen. Where is Harry???….where is the media to ask him about his Horse that he was pushed out of?

You all have short memories. No reflection for Harry and the greatness he brought to the Festival winning the novice and then the Gold Cup.

So disappointed that Findlay has been left out to dry, i don’t want to hear nonsense from Nicholls who speaks garbage most of the time, or from Paul Barber who cut off Findlay when the going got tough.

Who is willing to stand for Harry??…..I surely am and I hope he comes back to Tinahely P2P some day for a good old chat with many of his oldest Irish Friends, unlike the above mentioned duo who come and go in the space of 2 hours at least Harry would talk to the peasants and was a gentleman.
