Sports Line for me is a dark Horse for this race.

He could not even be settled by Ruby and that is telling you how much of a nut job he is.

However their is plenty of class and if he has been thought to settle i think he is right up their with Cee Bee IMO.

I personally believe this horse will win Big Races in the future and hopefully this year he will live up some way to his ability

For a horse that is ruled out for the season…Weapons Amnesty is trading at 65 on Betfair.

I would not be surprised with connections if he comes back this season tbh

Willie Mullins have a very strong hand in this race at the Festival.

He could run 3-5 horse’s in this race but i think he just run one in Micky D.

Works for me Betlarge….may not interest anyone else but its a way i keep myself interested but not addicted.

I certainly don’t want to go down the line of Problem gambler’s. It becoming a epidemic at the moment and i certainly have more to live for than a 3m handicap chase around hexham at 2.30 on a Monday. I would crack up sitting at home all day betting…not for me

Denman is proven unlike the rest of opposition.

He has no right to beat the Handicap last year with What a Friend going on to do very good things. Their is no What a Friend this year and the like of Wierd Al who doesn’t look the most natural over fences.

I hope Denman grind them into the ground

My few little tips for Punting

    * If you wanna make money don’t bet on Horse’s….money cant be your sole motivation in this Sport or else you go broke.

    * Avoid Handicaps like the plague unless its the Hennesey or National. Big betting handicaps are okay but the day to day stuff is as close a some robbing the stake from your pocket

    * Keep your powder dry if the racing is very poor…Maiden Hurdle’s etc are very poor betting position. Betting on races like Novice races and conditions aswell as graded races are my fortay and find it much easier if you consider a niche. They may not be a conditions or novice race on any card during the midweek so it focuses the mind when it does come along

    * Back Ruby Walsh :D in the races i mentioned above

Denman seems to be a horse made for this particular race. Big powerful horse that can carry stones on his back. Sam Thomas is back on board and that a massive positive. Denman likes Sam Thomas…he likes his quite style like the Genius Walsh. I believe that if Ruby has made this horse the champion he is. Its a great shame that Ruby misses him but Sam deserves as much credit for keeping his head down.

I hope Denman can do it….if he is in front with one circuit to go…i believe history will be made!

I see Cue Card is as short as 2/1  for the Supreme.

Zaidpour is a better horse imo than Cue Card. This Cue Card won’t be out for a few months i believe. I think its a good chance to chase this favorite on the place market if your into that sort of thing. He will probaly be trading double the price when all the top novices re-appear. I know he is a very talented animal but i can’t take any price as short as that

A very weak Grade 1 and what is the point of such a race imo in November. Zaidpour looks different class to everything in this race. Willie cant miss this…..1/3 for this horse isn’t undervaluing his superiority i believe in this field.

He simply won’t be beat under any sort of race tactics or by the oppostition. 1/3 for jumping his hurdle’s is a price

A complete non event of a race with such a small field. All this stepping stone lark is good and well buts its a different test to what will be faced come March.

They always seem to canter around for the first 1m4f and then a turn of foot wins it. Harchibald/Go Native etc are horses that seem to excel in this race where jumping is to the fore and can jump themselves basically in turning for home after a farcical pace.

Formbook wise no matter what the result i think its for the receycle bin

Will their be a guarnteed pace setter?…if not its going to be very tough for Hurricane Fly to settle.

I hate Irish Race’s that lack any pace for the first cicuit…their a bit of a joke tbh. We need a good end to end gallop before even considered geting involved at any price on any horse. If the pace is slow Solwhit for me but if its a proper gallop i be taking him on i think.

I wait and see the comments re Hurricane Fly to understand what the trainer wants to see from his charge. If its a blackstairmountain sort of debut then the layers will be out and i be their at any price.

The words from Mullins are such that Micky D looks to be back to his best from what he can see. This horse was always considered a chaser and his hurdles career was merly just a stepping stone. This horse deserves to go off at 4/6 for me. He has tons in hand on Hurdle’s ratings so its a mere formality for me. Either he has retained his ability or he hasn’t and i reckon he has from the trainer’s comments so i be taking that price of 5/4 with powers if it arrives on the day

Arvika out for the season
    Citizen Vic
    Fionnegas Dead.

Novice chasing ranks taking a battering obviously except CV. I hope Willie does not have more injuries….very disappointing.
