Can’t choose between Secret Satire and Treasure. Treasure looks like she’ll stay, James Doyle is experienced enough to guarantee her a good ride. Secret Satire, will she stay?
I fancy Purple Lily, dropping back in trip shouldn’t be a problem for her. A win her should give Ezeliya’s form a boost for the Oaks
Bellum Justum, surely he should improve? With the Derby looking wide open, anything is possible, right?
I’m sure Gosden will give him more time to settle, he can’t be expected to fill Dettori’s shoes in just one season. As to whether the owners will be patient is another question.
He just needs to get a few good wins under his belt. Personally, J&T should allow him to ride with his instinct on courses like Southwell, as sometimes instructions add extra pressure.
If im not mistaken, Coolmore own shares in Sierra Leone. They did well with Scat Daddy and if Sierra Leone continues with the promise he has shown, he could be a good investment as a top stallion.
Needed this rain in the 1000 Guineas

Good shout Stilvi
I’m wondering if the ground will be issue for Rock n Swing. Only ran on soft and heavy ground. Tulipa Chope has decent form and C&D experience. Another one I’m considering.
Rock n Swing should be thereabouts, has won C&D last time out. Form of that race looks decent with 2 winners since. Each way for me.
I’ve been wondering why Salamanca is such a big price with 2 good runs under his belt. Im guessing Endless Story’s poor run in listed company is playing a part but im confident he’ll run well again and im backing him each way.
Ramazan looks interesting, was impressive at Ayr and Redcar last season. Considering an e/w punt. Was also looking at Arabian Storm who was 6l behind Mostabshir on return after a long lay off, still lightly raced. Oisin Murphy was on board at Kempton so guess I can look at that as a positive. Torn between these two, don’t know how to split them.
Sierra Leone run a good race, His not running in a straight line was Tyrone’s main concern after the blue grass. Forever Young, that’s one tough horse.
Only 5 races under his belt so room to correct the lagging to the left.
I’ll have a bet on him for the Breeders Cup.
Ways and Means run well on her return from injury in a Grade 2, that should have blown away any cobwebs. Chad Brown speaks well of her.
Alyanaabi’s run behind City of Troy wasn’t bad, he looks well balanced enough and handled the dip well enough, I’m happy to back him again.
I’m quietly confident Cinderella’s Dream will put in a good run. UAE 1000 Guineas may not be the most prestigious race but the manner of her win was eye-catching.
Quar Shamar 28/1 e/w
Twice raced colt. Flopped on debut as a 2yo but won a maiden at Dundalk last time out. Honestly the form of that race looks iffy with some placed horses winning maidens. With such an open looking race and some bookies paying 4 places, he’s worth a punt.
If Moore goes for the KD, wont be surprised to see Donnacha take up the ride of SW, he rides him at home and was on board when he won on debut. Im not too worried about the 2000 guineas, will Ryan be back in time to ride Clemmie? Thats my worry.
