Hey Bobby, what is French for ‘Complete Boil Over’.
May 12, 2024 at 14:59 #1694088Good stuff Stilvi
May 12, 2024 at 15:01 #1694090Cracking tip Stilvi and Vespertilio nice EW return green and all who backed her..
Things turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...May 12, 2024 at 15:17 #1694094Good shout Stilvi
May 12, 2024 at 15:20 #1694095Thanks all.
Very welcome. First and last. I managed to get a boosted 40/1, so just under 45/1. I think it’s my best win since Kelina won for the same jockey last year. Unless you land the occasional dart to cover all the disappointments, it’s massively difficult to win these days. It’s a shame, but these sort of wins don’t come around very often.
Even today I was worried when she nearly reared over backwards going in, and then I thought the game was up when she became unblanced as Buick crossed over. I think the jock going forward from the wide draw, and the much better ground were the keys to the success.
May 12, 2024 at 15:33 #1694097Great shout Stilvi

The more I know the less I understand.
May 12, 2024 at 15:35 #1694100Thanks.
How lucky was that with the weather, but there are probably many times when it will go the other way.
May 12, 2024 at 16:42 #1694115Well done stilvi, couldnt have her myself atall,
Glad i was laying the fav as my two never really looked like winning at any stage, albeit i think buick gave her a very good ride
Funny start for the 3 year olds, alot of 2 year old formlines going wayward
May 12, 2024 at 16:51 #1694119Well done winners and I’m sure Stilvi won’t be pleased again to have three outsiders finishing 1-2-3 in both French Classics.
How can you find a useful piece of form at 2 or even in the trials 2-3 weeks ago which might help you at landing an EW bet?
Somekind a very strange trend is taking over even at the highest level. Too many no shows from stables like Fabre, Rouget, Ballydoyle and Godolphin.May 12, 2024 at 16:54 #1694121Disappointing on Minoushka, big prices there , what a run by Brian Meehan’s Kathmundu i actually backed her when looking all over the winner to land the Nell Gwyn Stakes at 40/1 , but jinked in the closing stages to finish third, just denied here to a head, Sean Levey a jockey that gives 110% on every ride.
Congrats
on Stilvi on giving the winnerMay 12, 2024 at 17:25 #1694138Not sure why I would be disappointed?
Couldn’t be more pleased about finding the winner, and it’s further evidence as to how difficult it is for the punter, whatever the level of racing. So in a way happy on both counts.
