The incentive is that your P&L will be boosted significantly. It’s just like you would do a betting P&L, the one with the best return on tips come the end wins.
I really liked On The Road for the handicap hurdle the other week before the meeting was abandoned (was well backed overnight), so I think i’ll have to have an e/w go on him also. Like the form behind Sykes when he was staying on well in second. Sykes is now around 12-15lbs more than when winning that day.
Mitch is full value for his 5lb and with bottom weight the big prices around look very attractive come tomorrow when books will go 5/6 places.
Left my antepost on Pobbles Bay who I think still has a good chance and think i’ll have a saver on Mysteree as he’s got to be going close based on his form and weight turn with Chase The Spud.
Think the money for WHAD was people trying to second guess Hendo rather than any serious money. Doesn’t take much money to move a horse antepost with such low liquidity.
Think he’ll be going to Chepstow as Jacob is riding there and won’t want to miss out on the ride on him in a G1.
He is in the Sandown Juv as second pref in case Chepstow is chopped, again.Agree with all of the above Steve, If WHAD turns up he’s interesting, but don’t think that is the plan currently as Jacob is jocked up at Chepstow (Although Hendo might be up to his tricks again).
I played 2 pts Kalashnikov at 3s this morning when I went through the race and the doubts over the Hendo runners.
He’s looked very smart in his runs to date and really hope he can show what Amy Murphy can do with a good horse.I was worried by the same comment Henry made the other month. Henry before Leopardstown fall however said the below – he won over three miles at Clonmel and he was second over three miles in the Albert Bartlett, so he has good form over that trip. Going back over three will hopefully suit him.
I like FW, and had sadly backed him in the Feltham, but I want to see him win his lower grade race the trainer has said he’s going for next before thinking about him as I don’t think he’d shorten much for a lower class win.
I’ve started having a good look into the fez markets now and a thought came into my mind regarding the top two in the betting for this –
Davy Russell has been riding Monalee this season as it appears that D Mullins has possibly fell out with Henry. Davy also rides Presenting Percy.
He can’t ride both in the RSA, and if he fancied the ride on Monalee more, could be then advise Pat Kelly (or put Pat off the RSA as he’d be without his services) to go to the 4 miler?
He stayed on well over 3m 5f, so it’s certainly possible.
This thought has made me have a bit on Monalee at 7s. Was jumping and travelling well I thought until he put in a novice mistake and fell the other day.
I was meaning his next run rather than cheltenham, sorry should’ve made that clearer.
Personally can’t be bothered trying to work out fez races with that trainer, pointless task.
Emmet Mullins has said on FFP podcast that he’s spoken with Graham Wylie and they’re looking at dropping to 2m. Be interesting where he slots in, as the only races for him are the ones already marked up for Min & UDS.
Thought he was still green as grass, like Mullins basically said (only his fourth run). Pace was strong so caught him out initially, but he then got himself sorted and made headway. Sharjah travelled all over the field but compared to Real Steel he’s a lot more experienced which showed.
Mullins seemed to make out that the same horses that ran will be running in the Deloitte at the new Dublin Festival next month, and I hope to see a marked improvement from Real Steel there.
Mullins quoted as wanting him back over fences NTO.
Taking Taquin’s form as a middle man for form is dodgy for me, but I see where you’re coming from.
The 3 miler the other day was slow run hence Bapaume being so close in behind.
Thought Wholestone ran well yesterday, but not sure he truly stays a stiff 3 miles.
What a cheap load of rubbish. Not even an attempt at counter argument.
You compared a horses novice mark against an open company mark, then compared a novice run against Yanworth against Yanworths Champion Hurdle run when he was blatantly not right as well as being half a mile shorter than the compared race.
Calling a back to back fez winner a boat sums up why I didn’t at first reply to you. Simply madness.
Forget the username, apologies, but I agree that Yorkhill ran a promising race. Townend didn’t really get him covered up at all, as the inside rail was shunted so he was exposed and became lit up. He travelled well before fading and I think he’s well worth another go in the Irish GC, but I don’t think that’ll happen.
You can get all the ATR track replays on the ATR site or what i feel is easier personally, via the app.
I also use Sportinglife for RUK replays, through my SkyBet login. If your having issues they seem to at least give an effort to try and sort this via Twitter.
Some horses don’t do a tap in front. Yorkhill, like STS, stop when they hit the front. They will beat a 120 rated hoss around the same as they would a 150 hoss.
Steve you speak some cobblers on here chief.
Jasolong, was Sea The Stars not very good as he never won by a clear distance?
Sutton Place needs soft ground it seems, pulled due to ground AFAIK and very fragile.
Why is Supasundae below the grade, In a weak Stayers, when he got to half a length of AJ in ground slower than ideal?
Odds on he’s got a virus i’d Say.
Horses that would normally be getting piled into are drifting also, I think they know there’s an issue.
