Race Replays

For some reason my recording of todays racing on ITV failed, I suspect it is because they keep changing the name of the programme.

I would watch the racing on catch-up but it does not allow me to fast forward through the adverts. Where is the best place to watch a couple of todays races free of charge?

Chestnut if you go to Sporting Life Racing and just Register, then it’s completely free to just Log In and watch the reruns of any race. You can access these races straight after the race has been run. To find them go to the Results section and chose the race you wish to watch.

This is also helpful when studying form as you can go to Racecards and choose the Meeting that you are interested in and by the side of each horses name that is running you will see a Play icon giving you the option to watch the horses last run…so much better than Racing Post website where they expect you to pay a premium to gain access to this sort of information..

Chestnut, as Jac said, you can watch replays on Sportinglife with registration. As an alternative,
you can watch today’s Cheltenham races at http://www.thejockeyclub.co.uk/video/ without registration.
I think the Sportinglife are quicker at putting their replays up, so if you want to watch during the
racing day they would be the better option

I have tried to register with Sporting Life, but it just says the page is loading but it never loads. That is another problem altogether though that I need to sort out.

I use Sky, which essentially uses the videos from sportinglife, so you could try that, but at the moment it seems as if all ATR videos are not being shown for whatever reason, hopefully that’ll be resolved quickly. So if that’s messed it all up for you, the only other option might be to search for the specific race on youtube.

You can get all the ATR track replays on the ATR site or what i feel is easier personally, via the app.

I also use Sportinglife for RUK replays, through my SkyBet login. If your having issues they seem to at least give an effort to try and sort this via Twitter.

Sporting Life are still showing replays from RUK but i went to watch a replay of Without Parole and got this message.

We regret that replays from At The Races racecourses are unavailable until further notice.

I guess there is some haggling going on.

It may not have “failed”. My didn’t record either but was watching anyway. It wasn’t until after the programme had finished that I noticed it hadn’t recorded. I checked for this coming weekend’s programmes also and these were not set to record. I had this as a “Series recording”. I’m guessing, but may be wrong, that as from 1st Jan a “new series” of racing started. I have set both the Opening Show and the main programme as Series recordings as from this weekend.

At The Races website has all it’s races available as replays and it’s free. The Jockey Club as already mentioned is also free to view.
