Stupid comments Gigginstown…..
I am gutted, I feel honoured to have seen him in Leopardstown in 2003 and 2004. A great horse.

No mention of Asian Maze in the lists! If she is campaigned well, she should out do Solerina as the No.1 Irish hurdling mare! War of Attrition looks interesting now he is be stepped up in trip. I would prefer Brave Inca to go over the large obstacles, I have never been impressed with his jumping over hurdles, he may be better suited to jumping fences.

I cannot wait to see him back in action, a true top class horse.
Ian,
Paul McCartney pays 40%, which is fantastic. Unfortunately Bono and U2 pay 10%, which is the Artists tax in Ireland. I was at Live8 in Hyde Park, I also saw U2 in Dublin the previous Saturday. Bono made one of his political speechs urging the Irish Government to contribute the 0.7% GDP for third world aid, Ireland currently contributes 0.4%. If raising taxes was to contribute to this 0.7% I would gladly pay my share to achieve it. I wonder would Mr Hewson pay his, after all I believe U2’s current world tour will net €175m in profit….. makes you think sometimes.
Really sad news. My thoughts are with his family.
R.I.P.
Perhaps this thread should be renamed: –
"How bent is SUBSTANDARD racing?"…
Does a horse being punted in from 20s to 7-2 favourite, while the paper favourite drifts from 5-2 to 18s on Betfair (as happened in one banded Southwell race recently) suggest a straight race to you Cubone?
This happened in a banded race at Southwell? I have to say I am most suprised…..:o
Ur exposing yourself then…..
Not over, March beckons…
I think Robgomm hit the nail on the head, I think Azertyuiop was more prominent in Cheltenham and actually went past Mosocw down the back straight. I think when they both meet in Cheltenham Azertyuiop will make it 2-2.
I didn’t see yesterday’s race, however I am of the opinion that Azertioup’s win at Chelts last year was top class, his jumping down the back was awesome. IMO He will be very hard to beat, he is as TDK has said the best chaser around at the moment.
In relation to Kicking King, his jumping at Gowran on his reappearance was quite impressive, I reckon he will win in Down Royal on Saturday, he has more class than Beef or Salmon and I think he has a real outside chance of winning the GC next year.

I find no joy in studying a race at length, only to see a total farce played out in front of me, where it is quite clear that criminals have taken the ordinary punter to the cleaners.
Why on earth would you bother to study the form of a class E race in Lingfield? I’ve given up parting with my cash in these type of races, I’ll only have a bet in competitive handicaps with decent prize money or Group/Listed races.
From my sentiments, above, I have proven Ian and TDK’s point. However it seems bizzare people would bother to back a horse in lower grade races. They are very shady affairs IMO! But TDK I have to ask why would you bother studying these races, when you know as you have said they are dodgy. For sure, clean the game up, but I won’t be having a bet until I know it is cleaned up.
Very sad news.
RIP Persian Punch.
Really sad news, a horse I must say I was really fond of, I thought his most impressive performance was in the Feltham last season. RIP.
Jesus, you guys should set up your own shrine or website to Rooster Booster, I’d say Philip Hobbs has a restraining order out on you guys, bet your not allowed within 2 Miles of the rooster!
If he does not win tomorrow, will I arrange some counselling for you guys!!!!
I never said I did Grass, just correcting you in thinking that Rooster did not have a hard race last year.;)
