I don’t think he is ground dependent to be honest, he should have won at Galway earlier in the season on Good ground. If you look at his pedigree he has a half brother by Son of Sharp Shot who was trained by Jessie Harrrington, his two wins came on good ground.
I do think that this horse is fiercely underrated, and may surprise many people.

I am a fan of Realt Dubh, as David says, Noel Meade’s record isn’t fantastic as Cheltenham.

Stilvi,
Is this the feature in today’s post? If so, connections have said they will leave the decision to go to Cheltenham to the trainer. Lovely horse, and he is very well related.

Day of a Lifetime 6/4 on betfair, when you consider how easily he won his maiden, I can’t see anything putting it up to him tomorrow. One worry is his hurdling, he tends to go out to the right a little. If he wins well tomorrow, I think he will be Mullins main Supreme hope.

If Riverside Theatre was mine, I’d bypass Cheltenham and go to Aintree. IMO he is best on a flat track, the Melling chase could be his for the taking.
Very sad about Pride of Dulcote.

Fair play Fistycuffs.

I am a big fan of So Young, but I will be very surprised if Oscars Well gets beaten in the Neptune, IMO he looks like very special. He is currently 6-1 and is my big hope of the meeting.

Was a big fan of Glencove. RIP
Very true IC. He looks like a really good horse, I think he is future Champion Hurdle material.

I think the winner is very decent, shame he is being sent to the Neptune, I think he has enough gears for the Supreme. Neptune looking a really good renewal, as Bobs Worth and So Young look very decent also.

I was astonished they bought him, after his win at Thurles there was a lot of soundings of how good this horse is etc. I hadn’t seen the Thurles race myself until Friday, and to my mind it was nothing out of the ordinary, I actually thought it was an extremely weak race.
If I were JP, I would be breaking the bank to buy Oscars Well, who looks a magnificent prospect.

IC,
I like the look of Oscars Well, he looked quite impressive on his last start at Navan. While, I don’t doubt that Zaidpour has some engine, I don’t think he is the neatest of hurdlers, and that observation is not from his Xmas run, but his Royal Bond outing.

DJ Casey I believe.
Double Post.
If Get me out of here can leave his two runs this season behind him he has got to have a big shout. The two horses I like in this race are both from Alan King’s stable.
I couldn’t be more impressed with the fashion that Salden Licht won at Exeter in January, he never came off the bridle. The third horse that day, Hunterview was beaten three lengths and subsequently won a valuable handicap at Musselburgh yesterday, Salden Licht gave him 18lbs at Exeter.
Iolith is another horse I was taken with, he won at Taunton in his last outing, he is still a novice and is totally unexposed.
There are my two against the field.

Fist,
The horse’s price has been extremely tight from the time he won the Christmas Hurdle until yesterday, traded 40k from prices 4.8 to 6, then drifts, it’s rather strange.
