Lamarckise is the one Novice Hurdler that made Willie Mullins light up like a Xmas tree in his pre-season ATR preview. She runs today at Limerick. Real deal or another bubble to be burst? Not gonna lie, have a few lovely multis which she is key to. Have Saldier 33/1 & Lamarckise 16/1. Also have Lamarckise with Tiger Roll. Fingers crossed she bolts up.

Agree. 6/1 is bonkers for Min. When I saw that I assumed he wasn’t running. Word is he is running; this will be a great race

Don’t mind the description; it’s Leopardstown and it has been dry. The ground will be Yielding at worst. Sharjah for me

Al Boum was giving that horse 11 pounds though so you could say he beat him by 17L. 1 year ago he beat Inviation Only at the same meeting and according to Timeform this years performance was better on the clock.

I really like Carefully Selected but I’d be against him here. 3 runs over fences is not usually the profile for the winner of this. You usually need more experience; he’s also quite short..

Leopardstown drying out before the weekend. Ground could be on the quick side. DeBromhead will be keeping a close eye on it with Honeysuckle. I really hope we see her this weekend to see if she can hang with the best Irish 2 milers

Lets see how Honeysuckle gets on in Leopardstown first. All she’s beaten so far is Bacardys and a below par Apples Jade; although she did it well. Sharjah & Petit Mouchoir represent the best of the Irish Open 2 mile hurdle form this season; if Honeysuckle can beat them then she’s a Champion Hurdle contender; if she can’t then she’s not.

Woudld Willie really send Benie to the Stayers? He said he’d prefer soft ground for her and Cheltenham is mostly softer on Tuesday than it is on Thursday because they water. If there is rain forecast for the Wednesday or Thursday he might send Benie to the Stayers. Also, if Honeysuckle goes for the Champion Hurdle Willie might fancy his chances of winning the Mares Hurdle with Elimay or Stormy Ireland and let Benie take her chance against Paisley Park.

One thing you know for sure with Mullins is all options will be left open until the last minute so NRNB if you’re getting involved this early.

“And yeah cracking tip EE 6th beaten 26 lengths mate. When you acted like he was the second coming.”

Jasolong; you’re clearly mixing up your Proteins from your Carbohydrates B-)

Just on Honeysuckle lads, are people getting a bit carried away? She’s only beaten Bacardys by 9L over 2 and a half miles; now that could be decent form and she did it well but does that make her a good thing for the Champion Hurdle? Obviously she’s in the Irish Champion Hurdle so hopefully we’ll find out then. If she beats Sharjah and Petit Mouchoir over 2 miles on decent yielding ground in Leopardstown then she’s definitely a contender.

Still no sign of Lamerckise yet. Hopefully he’s just going with his softly softly approach

Really need NRNB. You would think Henry will be tempted to go for the Champion Chase with A Plus Tard after his Leopardstown run.

It’s a pity that Minella Indo and Carefully Selected were pulled at Leopardstown. There are a few unknowns here. This could be a very good race.

25/1 Unexcepted. Clearly didn’t like the conditions in Limerick. Strong pace in the Supreme over 2 miles on decent ground should bring about major improvement. Abacadabras form is stronger for sure but 25/1 is huge.

I’d say that’s a direct result of Andy Dufresne flopping. Abracadabras and Envoi Allen are now the top 2 novices in the yard and they will surely be seperated

The winner there today was 3L behind Abracadabras in his first run so perhaps Andy Dufresne isn’t quite at the same standard as some of the best Novices. Maybe Envoi Allen will come to the Baltimore now with Abracadabras as Elliots Supreme horse. Have cashed in on Andy Dufresene for this race now at a small loss.

Actually, maybe the RSA would be a better shout. Looked to have a lot of speed though. More hoping that he can beat Sam Spinner well and his odds contract so I can cash out. I’m all about the profit taking with my Ante-Post selections.
