Honeysuckle heads the betting here, and I’m hoping she books her ticket to The Champion Hurdle in March.

I’ve went on about Sharjah since the start of the season for The Champion Hurdle, but somehow managed to miss the 33’s. He’s a very decent animal, and given his ground, a match for anyone.

Hardly a surprise to see that pair head the market.

Race should cut up, and it’s Supasundae at 20’s who catches the eye, just looks the wrong price, and could easily see him hit third, or better.

Envoi Allen not declared, which is probably the biggest news here.

I’m happy with Supasundae here, but in hindsight, Petit Mouchoir was probably an equally appealing each way alternative.

Still a bit of 20’s about for Supasundae, and good to see most firms holding the three places for now.

I can’t really split the front two here.

I’m a huge fan of Honeysuckle, but the ground could be a big factor here, and I just wonder about the ground being hugely in favour of Sharjah.

I think just Sharjah for me, but I agree with the ew angle on Petit Mouchoir, and that is what I’ve went with, 14/1 ew

Autumnal i wouldn’t worry about the ground too much- they are watering the chase track a good bit now and if it was to get to dry on the hurdle track i’m sure they’d start there.

You’re right Bobby the 20s is too big. Honeysuckle to win though.

    GOING:
Soft. , Yielding in places (H’dle and Bumper), Yielding, Yielding to Soft in places (Chase). Selective watering continues on the chase track. Chance of scattered showers Thursday night into Friday morning and Saturday night into Sunday morning. Otherwise remaining dry.

On decent ground on a flat track, Sharjah all day long. Am on 7-4. Will view races beforehand on the day in case they have overwatered however.

The only rain is 2mm very early Saturday morning. That is it before Saturday racing.

After last year I’m not sure they will allow any good to be in the going description

I imagine they will want it to be soft or yielding to soft

Just read an article about that just now so have cashed out. Any soft in the description won’t help Sharjah.

Don’t mind the description; it’s Leopardstown and it has been dry. The ground will be Yielding at worst. Sharjah for me

Vautour the article talked about the number of non runners when it was yielding there previously and they don’t want a washout of major fancies for the big meeting. That’s a ground red flag for those who want it quickish. I would rather wait after that read.

Honeysuckle for me… I want to see her take her chance in the Champion Hurdle at Cheltenham!

I may need to drop Klassical from my Ten to Follow

Sharjah the most likely winner, until she does it again, im slightly degrading honesuckles last run, given the opposition, wouldnt be entirely surprised if she was flattered by a bunch of extremely inconsistent horses, shes still been impressive outwith that, im just not sure how impressive

Supasundae e/w and aramon e/w at bigger prices would be my bet, sharjah can put a howler in from time to time and i think id rather play it safe, hes not a horse id back at short odds

To think i had a big price about honeysuckle for the mares novice last season still makes me sick lol

I’ll follow you VtC with the 20/1 EW for Supasundea. Big price for a very consistent horse.

If its dry enough by race time Sharjah I think will win. With the watering hard to tell.
