I don’t think he’s been jocked off, I just don’t think he can make the 8-6, but I could be wrong.
Just read that Kerrin McEvoy is going back to Australia, and that Godolphin are not replacing him and have no plans to retain a second Jockey, wonder if they are winding down?
It’s repeated next Saturday morning at 01.45 am, although if you wait till then, you will probably have read everything there is to say about the program on the forum

Chapman was accused of this last year when he criticized Joe Fanning and Fanning got an 18 day ban, if my memory is correct Tommo was less then supportive of his college on that occasion so maybe there’s not a lot of love lost between them.
Munro and Holland imo are both top jocks, neither would put me off backing a horse, in fact if Holland is on a confirmed front runner at a big price I will always have a small e/w wager on it.
Hughes is another matter, I have never ridden a horse so I have no idea exactly how much you can see sitting on one and looking though your legs while traveling at speed, but why would you do it when you’ve got horse’s on both side’s of you? imo he was just showboating and has been made to look very foolish, will he learn? I doubt it

Well done Ginge good shout, I went for Effort like some of the other poster’s and thought McEvoy looked after him, maybe one for next time.
Backed Fat boy a while ago at a big price, unfortunately it’s still a big price
wish I got on Marchand D’or when it was in double figures but it’s two short for me now, going for US Ranger, it’s run on will at the end of it’s last two runs and O’Brien is a master of getting a horse ready for a particular target, hopefully this is the one
Limit the amount of down force that cars are allowed, whenever there is rain you get an exciting race, if drivers can not rely on mechanical grip, then they must rely on there own skills, I know some people call for artificial watering of the track(a controversial subject on a horse racing forum) but I think that would take it away from a genuine wet weather race, take away the mechanical grip, you will see great races every other week

Did anyone see the letter in the Daily Mail(I do read it to my shame) last week, someone wrote in and had a right pop about Moore having to be forced to have his picture taken with the winning owners of a horse he had just won on. This was on the main letters page, now you can imagine what sort of doom and gloom appears on this page, obviously what happened yesterday is a stand alone event, but it makes you think that Moore’s reticence/shyness is something that will count against him in the long run, if the Mail is prepared to print a letter like that, about a jockey who non-racing people have never heard of, it makes you wonder if the knives are out in certain sections of the press.
Well done Denis, been a great thread and it has giving me a good few winners that I would never even have looked at, Thanks mate I owe you a pint Tony

Ain’t it great.
Jim Bolger is damned if he keeps punters informed, damned if he does not.
Punters should make up their minds.
Do they want Bolger to keep quiet abot the possible injury?
Say he kept quiet and then it transpired the horse had a bruised foot a couple of days beforehand. What would these same punters say then?
Mark
I wish he would have kept us punters informed about Finsceal Beo, drifted like a barge, and then the vet finds a problem after the race

Good luck to Nick Mitchell with his new yard, for him to start up on his own in the present circumstances is his right, but to agree to train his former guvnors best horse in the circumstance, is something that I’m sure a lot of people wouldn’t do.
He was well over the top with his use of the whip, maybe it’s a good thing that he dropped it in the 2.30 on Chunky lad, or maybe the frustration of doing so made him behave the way he did in the 4.30.
Casual Conquest Win
Frozen Fire E/Wgood luck all
Good piece by Lydia, but moaning about £6 for Thai food, she should go over the Arsenal £4.80 for a hot dog, Shocking

I agree with what everyone is saying debts SHOULD be honored, but the post says outstanding bets under £20 do not need to be settled, obviously Kev doesn’t say if that’s a temporary measure and that you have to pay at a later date(which obviously he will), but I do find it a bit strange when bookies are chasing people for 15 quid, I thought they were more honourable and understanding

Ryan Moore who’s just had an absolute ‘mare aboard Adversity.
I have to say I was ready to pick up on this before I scrolled down to say David’s comment. Moore had absolutely no chance from where he was, the only way he could get in the race was by dropping right out and swooping wide and late. If I were doing an appraisal on Ryan Moore’s afternoon, I’d be far more inclined to highlight his great ride on Doctor Fremantle, settling him in A1 position depsite missing the break and getting him a dream run on the rail.
Richard Hills on Wasan was drawn 11 finished 3rd, John Egan on Frevent prince was drawn 9, finished 2nd, I’m sorry but I think if one of the Hills brothers or Richard Hughes had been on Adversity they would have been slaughtered, don’t get me wrong Moore’s ride on Doctor Fremantle was class, but there does seem to be a bit of we must not criticize Moore and that he can do no wrong
