Friday 6th July 2007
Sandown 2.40
Given that he’s by Kyllachy and has already been shown to enjoy soft ground, Sirjoshua Reynolds is trading too big on Betfair at 11/1
1pt win.
Unpl. 11/1
Sandown 3.50
Tam Lin had better form than this lot last year and if settling better must go close.
1.5 pts win

3.15 Sandown
George Washington is overpriced at 5/1 with Ladbrokes tonight. 1 pt win.
The record of Derby winners in the Eclipse is ordinary and he could do Authorised for a turn of foot if he settles for his in-form jockey.
3rd 4/1
-1pt.July 9, 2007 at 15:11 #106885Lay Sakhee’s Secret 1pt at 5.2 July Cup Ante-Post.
For reasoning see July Cup thread.

1pt win Scatina best morning price (8/1 available tonight)
This German raider looks to have been underestimated. The older fillies are beatable and this one is a strong stayer already a winner of a Group 2 who will love a bit of give and a true pace, which looks likely given the presence of Trick or Treat.
Unpl 6/1 -1pt
1.30 Newmarket
1pt win Folly Lodge best morning price (6/1 available tonight)
The way this filly won at Newbury was spectacular and she should get a good tow again in this big field.[/b]

1.5pts win .5pt place Dabber’s Ridge Bunbury Cup tomorrow 9/1 Tote
Looks like a high drawn prominent racer will be favoured.
unpl 6/1 -2pts
1pt win Red Clubs July Cup 20/1+ on Betfair tonight.
Contradicting m’self, but his draw (7) shouldn’t be a major hindrance given he’ll be dropped in- reckon he’s well overpriced now.
3rd 16/1 -1pt
1pt win Rainbow Rising 16/1 Ladbrokes (Ladbrokes Rockingham Hcap Sat Curragh)
Pipped over C+D last time on first Irish start-can’t be this price.
Update 13/7
Race now to be run Sunday, has drawn the 1 box, a big plus on soft ground here- increase to total of 1.5pts win, .5pts place still 16/1 Ladbrokes
won 15/2 +26ptsJuly 17, 2007 at 10:07 #1082102 pts win Cool Running Galway Plate 9/1 William Hill
Confirmed a definite runner in the RP today unless firm ground (you can have 50s with me) and will only carry 10-3 with Ansar in.
On a good roll, didn’t look to have stopped winning at Fairyhouse last time. Will start much shorter.
Update 9.50p.m.
Have another 1pt win 9/1 with Paddy Power- this price can’t last.July 18, 2007 at 00:25 #108328I’ll have a fiver at 50’s, chief!!
July 18, 2007 at 22:53 #108472You can’t be living in Ireland Dandan- Noah’s Ark just went past my window!
July 22, 2007 at 13:01 #1088152 pts win Essex 3.45 Tipperary 2/1 Ladbrokes
Looks a match between him and Al Eile with little between them at the weights, so 2/1 is a good price. He goes well fresh and will arguably handle the ground better than his main rival. My main worry is a farcically run race, but he can push the pace himself if needs be.
Won 5/4 +4ptsJuly 26, 2007 at 17:28 #1093058.40 Folkestone

Ran well in a better class race last time.
2nd 5/2 -1pt.July 27, 2007 at 10:22 #1093681.5 pts win, .5 pt place Conna Castle 12/1 Betfred in the Galway Plate
Another improver in the race on a handy mark, jumped much better in his last win, was decent over hurdles.
unpl 6/1 -2 ptsJuly 30, 2007 at 17:08 #1097251.5 pts win Blue Mountie 7.35 Galway 7/1 Betfred/Victor C
Very well drawn for a front-runner, this 7f should be ideal and MJ Kinane should make a good fist of making all to beat the badly drawn favourite.
unpl 5/1 -1.5 ptsJuly 31, 2007 at 18:43 #1098911 pt win Dani’s Girl 7.00 Galway S.P.
Borderline listed class filly just the type which wins this, draw is no hindrance.

Very well handicapped over hurdles relative to his flat mark. Ground is a slight worry, but worth chancing at the price. Won 3/1 +6pts
2pts win Do the Trick 3.00 Galway 7/2 available
Won at the Curragh with ridiculous ease, only 5lbs higher today.

lay Conna Castle 1pt 8/1
Bit worried about his jumping under pressure, lock in a profit from ante post bet.

Lay Cool Running 1pt not greater than 8/1
A bit too much on ante post, have a feeling he’ll shorten by post-time, will look to lay some off then.

Not given a hard time by Kieran from a bad draw here 2 days ago, better drawn now, course and distance winner.

Last time out Sligo winner looks overpriced under good amateur who rode Loyal Focus to win earlier in the week.
unpl 16/1 -1pt.
1 pt win Hovering 5.40 Galway 13/2 Betfred
Stayed on well to win over hurdles at the meeting on Monday, under Fallon today may improve on previous Flat form
N.R.
1 pt win Do the Trick 6.50 Galway 9/1 generally
A winner for me on Wednesday despite running too freely, if he settles better tonight he may confirm the form on 5lbs worse terms with the second.

Has the best of the draw and can make all.

May have been unsuited by soft last time, good value in this race as the fav is so short.
6th 9/1 -1.5ptsAugust 12, 2007 at 14:55 #1111371 pt win Aahayson 4.15 Curragh 10/1 guaranteed available.
Tough front-runner ideally drawn, won’t mind the ground.
4th 10/1 -1pt.August 13, 2007 at 15:08 #1112402 pts win Myboycharlie 2,000 gns. ante post 20/1 available.
I’ve been wanting to back this fella for the Guineas since he won the last day and the eclipse of Henrythenavigator at the weekend is putting his price under pressure. He should run next Sunday in Deauville and if he wins there I’d expect him to shorten considerably. Loved the way he won at the Curragh and expect him to be just as good on good ground. - AuthorPosts
