Hughes is one of several riders who regularly arouse negative comment on this and other websites.
Whilst he wouldn’t be my first choice to ride for my life, perhaps his riding style gives an impression that his mounts are going better than they are and exacerbates his mistakes. That’s a great point Lingfield, I’ve screamed at the TV many times regarding Hughes, but could never work out why(apart from the fact that I had money on his mount) you’ve made me think

Great site, I have learned a lot about the racing game by reading the posts on the forum, all the best everyone and have a great Christmas

Mikkymo was very good at place pots, but I think even he gave up in the end, they are the most frustrating form of betting imo, you seem to fall at the first, or it all goes wrong in the last

I think Katchit at 5/1 is a good bet, but as far more knowledgeable people on this forum then me have not given him a mention, Im starting to wonder am I missing something?
Good shout Madgic

Got an entry Sandown 8th Dec.
But that’s my point Pete, Mayweather can make 147 easy, so to me it’s all the more impressive that he could stop De La Hoya in his tracks at 154 and make him do a little dance.
But I have to admit after watching the press conferences and the start of the program 24/7 I’m starting to have a bit more hope in Hatton, Mayweather is a great fighter but very immature and wears his heart on his sleeve, he also has a lot of baggage with his father and uncle and one day that will catch up with him in the ring, hopefully against Hatton

I like Majestical (8.50 Kempton) he’s been placed in his last three starts and might just be first past the post tonight.
I agree this should be a great fight, I see Mosley coming on strong in the first 4-5 rounds(just as Judah did against Cotto) but I think Cotto will just overwhelm him after that, and go on to win a unanimous decision, but most firms are going Evens for that result so no value, your bet Pete on Mosley R 4-6 sounds good value to me.
The boxing bet I like this weekend is David Haye to beat Jean Marc Mormeck in R1-3(9-1), I just think Haye will overwhelm him and stop him early, in all the fights I’ve seen Mormeck in he’s always wobbled and rocked, he fights back well but I fancy Haye to stop him early, if he doesnt it could be a long night for Haye
Its at 147 and Mayweather rocked De La Hoya at 154

I like Jack Sullivan and Benny the Dip, a bit of difference in class between the two but good names

I haven’t done that, but I have bet on the same horse twice not realizing that the first bet had been accepted. When I first started using my online account, as you can imagine it didn’t win

I thought his interview with Jim Mcgrath on ATR today was quite good, more or less said that he tries to have his horse’s ready early in the season, because he cant compete with the big yards(apart from his class horse’s)
he talked about his first two runners today but not a lot about the last two, Mcgrath seemed keen on Rowdy Yeats but I don’t remember Davis saying a lot about him( a shame as he went on to win) he did say that Gemini Ahhs was the one he lest fancied today(came third)
Unlucky not to get a win there Chipmonk, good shout

I’m sorry to say that I can’t see how Hatton can beat him, Mayweather will lay on the ropes and pick Hatton off as he comes in, if they fight in the centre of the ring Mayweather will be two fast for him and probably stop him on cuts or possibly KO late on, the only hope I can see is if Hatton can hit him with a body shot similar to the one that stopped Castillo, I would love Hatton to win and I really hope I’m wrong, but I just can’t see it

Unlucky today Mikky, you would have thought Cigalas could have got a place with 5 of the 7 seven runners being taking across like that, but by the time they got back across somehow he was last? anyway unlucky m8
Going to follow you today Mikky, hopefully we have a good day, although I have put Heaven knows in the last as well as Red Gala, good luck
