“The Italian jockey then shared his excitement about the prospect of partnering Too Darn Hot once more, telling Sky before news of the injury broke: “He feels like he’s matured over the winter. He’s full of himself, and I’m looking forward to Saturday. He’s filled out, matured and grown a little bit – he’s developed nicely. I’m as excited as the general public about it. When you have the champion two-year-old making his first start at three, it’s very exciting.”
I do enjoy GT’s views even if I don’t post much… but on Timeform is it really worth the money? I’ve always thought about it but never paid for it…
Looked to me like it got 1st run on Norway as he was boxed in on the turn as he gained momentum and would appear to be fitter of the two… that said it looked good on the softish ground
Mount Everest had a little setback last week which means he is going to have a month off. That means he will be out of the Derby picture but we will have him back at the back-end of the year,” said O’Brien.
O’Brien said yesterday that he was going for the Vase, yet today he has been scratched from it ? Guess he must be going there then…
Haha loved Big Igor running round like a headless chicken, he had heart though…

Does anyone know why Japan is out of the Chester vase??
Hermosa not a 3yo until tomorrow either… nice early birthday present
Skitter scatter not gone on then….
I think the later race you refer to was the one Pogo won, where if there was a clear advantage Fox leiecster should of romped it…. Shine so bright did seem to set a better pace and Magna made it count just past the 3 pole…
T thought TS did well to run the race it did but looked knackered at the line…Oxx on Skitter scatter…
Well Gosden himself says here that the plan all winter has been the pavilion, granted he didn’t tell anyone to back him but he has contradicted himself, if the intended run was the pavilion what was he giving the horse every chance of? (or was there pressure to go for the guineas)

I don’t dislike Gosden or anything I just find him to contradict himself at times… He still doesn’t seem 100 % if he is to be a miler or sprinter…
I like Constantinople but don’t know if its more of a St leger aim….. though Broome looked impressive in the Bally….
At least witch Cecil and Frankel he told punters to keep their money and not stick it on Frankel for the Derby!! Gosden said he’d give the horse every chance knowwing full well he didn’t want to run him IMO
I quite like the look of MG more than most as I see more positives (certainly more than I find for TS), he has won at a mile and has only had 3 races so room to improve, POS was having his 5th race in the Racing post trophy, however I don’t like the top of the betting as I find negatives for them and with that I prefer an outsider so for that I like Hannons walkinthesand..
