Chuffed with that, if only my Xmas betting had gone as well!

Still waiting for Cilaos Emery to make an appearance before I put any money down on the Arkle.
On second viewing would question what to take out of that given the lack of pace over the first half of the race.
Just want to echo everyone else – real heart in mouth moment when Faugheen went down. So great to see him back up and being led away.
Can’t see him getting an entry. Smashing horse though
Valtor has to be considered on yesterday’s showing
I am going and my money will be with Politologue. Would love to see 8 remaining at final decs.
As an aside, how good does the Feltham look at the moment?

One of my favourites – an exciting horse to watch, and a gallant one too. Am pleased to hear JP looks after his retired horses well, MTOY definitely deserves it.

Either we all agree Party Politics is the best steeplechaser ever, or I’m not part of the clique

I’m taking a giant leap of faith and siding with Dounikos
Party Politics was the greatest steeplechaser in the history of National Hunt racing.
Altior my star horse please VtC

I too like Cilaos Emery for this. Fancy Claimantakinforgan to improve more than others for a fence, but despite what Henderson has said is the current intention, think he’ll end up going over further.
My ten to avoid:
Al Boum Photo
Altior
Blackbow
Claimantakinforgan
If the Cap Fits
Kemboy
Monalee
Presenting Percy
Santini
Willougby CourtGood luck everyone

Special thanks to VtC for running

VtC – if you can PM me with the details I’ll donate the same as last year please
Goes well after a lengthy break and history shows he likes the track. I’m looking forward to finding out whether he’ll stay.

Yes – jumps are on the horizon!
My early fancy for this is Elegant Escape, but at 12s (14s with WH), that’s far too short for me to be playing this far out.
Great read as always VtC, cheers

Portrush Ted is one I’m interested in.
