I mentioned yesterday on some post here that I thought CM was the bet of the season at 11 on BF, couldnt understand it.
But I didnt make half as much as I should have, as I spread my bets around.
Should stop moaning now and be happy with a win I think :cheesy:
I’ve backed a few against Araafa (not soviet Song though).
What I can’t understand is the price of Court Masterpiece?? Very, very unlucky in the Queen Anne, and a good record at goodwood. Should be 3 or 4/1 imho.
Can a professional layer explain to me why CM is the price he is?
Think Echo of light may nick it though
Aston,
Even though Tabadul would have been a very nice winner for me, I think knocking (and I often do) Hills here would be a little unfair.
He seemed to be going the best 2 out, and I think whilst he could have maybe held him for slightly longer, he almost had to leave him go.
Agonising loss :)

Nothing too original I’m afraid.
Court Masterpiece at 11 on Betfair might well be bet of the year for the Sussex tomorrow
Poor layout, some awful writers and no target audience .. inevitable.
It is a pity though as I liked some of their racing columnists, and the four horsemen have probably been the best tipsters of the last few months.

Ouija Board was 65 on BF a couple of days ago for the Arc. Amazing price.
I know shes being aimed at the breeders Cup and then HK – does anyone know do they expect to take in the Arc first?
Not to mention Shawanda at almost 30/1, very tempting if Godolphin were able to get their horses on to the racecourse…
Comments from some Ballydoyle supporters really amaze me.
Iceman and Librettist are 2 seriously promising horses for the rest of the season. It wouldnt surprise me if both challenged for (near) top group homours as the season progresses.
Sadly, Nick Mordin has restricted himself to thinking within his own box.
It takes a small man to be unable to admit when they were wrong.
Sincere condolences for your loss.
Andrew
DJ, I wasn’t referring to you, more to myself ;)
As in I still think she was a very weak favourite, regardless of what happened. Making sense, probably not :)
True. Still don’t think she was a decent price. You can’t base your pre-race thoughts on the race outcome ;)
My point is Alexandrova is only the price she is because of the colours on her back. I genuinely think she is the weakest favourite of any classic I’ve seen in a long, long time.
All I hear when Alexandrova has been mentioned are excuses. ;)
Can anyone tell me why a horse who has one 1 of 5 races to date is favourite for the oaks?
Especially as in a race with no excused the horse who beat her is a larger price??
I say it was Mr Wylie in the library with the candlestick.
Correct?;)
Although I backed Art Deco, Ivy Creek for me put in an amazing performance, and I can’t believe Geoff Wragg won’t run him in the derby.
My immediate reaction after the race was Ivy Creek should be in the front 3 in the betting for the derby, but that there might be a bit of value around him due to the fact he’s not from a glamourous stable.
Absolutely astonishing for me they won’t supplement him.
Jack, I wish I could share your enthusiasm for Emirate Skyline… he certainly left no impression of impending greatness to come in his 3 year old career on me.
Also, I should hope Frankie rides Palace Episode over ES as on 2 year old form, he has roughly a stone in hand. ;)
