Hi
Part time he should have been put down years ago if not at birthWhoopee- yawn
Hi Paul
Totally agree same strange logic that get’s you warned off for getting a few quid for telling someone the 16/1 shot your going to ride won’t win but just get a fine and a few days off for actually stopping themHi
Now I’m totally confused can someone explain why stopping horses somehow warrants a lesser penalty than flogging a bit useless information for buttons to a gullible punter who thought he was big time as in the other high profile and doomed cases.None of those were accused of stopping anything although I never quite understood how it was priveleged information unless something dodgy was going on. Aren’t Betfair customers being defrauded here as was alleged in the other cases in fact every one is defrauded here not just Betfair. The whole thing just defies logic surely he should have warned off. He appears to be a particularly nasty little man who tried to dump the blame on his jockeyI fail to see what all the fuss is about if a trainer wants to enter loads of horses in the same race it’s his right. It’s also your right not back any of them if you feel it’s a problem. This all arises from the ridiculous notion that trainers have the faintest idea of the relative ability of their horses – dream on they’ve even less idea than jockeys.
Well I can’t find anything wrong in not wanting to turn up for a non event like the Davis Cup. The problem was caused by John Lloyd dragging Henman back with a known to be retiring Greg R and getting us into a totally unsustainable position in the world group with effectively one player. The Davis cup does not have the international kudos of something like playing for England at football- the tennis players are all international already by dint of their day to day work and by it’s individual nature tennis does not really lend itself to this.Personally if were a top player I also wouldn’t be seen dead at the Olympics another non event for his sport. If they really want to get some team interest in Davis Cup it should be confined to players rated 100+ which would make it more widely competitive and the Olympics the same.I am a tennis player
Well KCC the difference is that you don’t pay for his tips but you do for Tommo’s. I really don’t understand this obsession with commentators giving tips. Are you incapable of making your own assessments? If so alternatively just take the RP selections or TheSun’s or dare I say rhe Daily Mail .The other option is just give backing horses altogether .Information ‘inside’ or otherwise is worthless at the end of the day it’s just someone else’s opinion no more no less and a sure way to lose money
Hi
So I guess everyone here reads the Sun or The TimesHi Micky
This was my understanding also I shall return to my argument with Tote sport.Hi
I find it amazing that all these people who purport to be experts need someone to tell them something on a racing channel- what God only knows! Basically the presenters’ job is to fill in the time between races otherwise we would have blank screens. Nick Love is excellent at his job.Contrary to what others may think I have yet hear anything worthwhile from jockeys or ex jockeys (Carson & Lindley eg)All trainers runners are fit and well with an EW chanceHi
The chances of getting planning permission for the complete site are very low to nil.The government would not overturn because building would not comply with current policy. However there may be land available within the site that could possibly be used for building purposes. Hopefully it finally scotch all chances of yet another AW trackHi
It seems this story may not be all it seems. Stoute seems to talking work riding 2+2=5??Hi
Perhaps it hasn’t been announced yet ???Hi
Didn’t Ginger wear one himself ?Hi TC
Thanks but I was only raising the query as Fist lives in Thailand I believe and was commenting on ATR ride of the weekFebruary 5, 2008 at 13:32 in reply to: All Weather Racing – where have all the runners gone? #140371Hi
The problem with curtailed fixtures is that they now have little control over them which I suspect will bring an increase in AW early and late on the flat and an even greater compression mid season for the grass.Hi Matty
There’s a bar and restaurant there attached to the Golf Club where you can buy alcohol . Thursday is the normal racing day at Nad Al Sheba- AuthorPosts
