Where have these God awful colours appeared from I can’t see to read a thing. Forget this change its terrible

Basically what I’ve been saying for years the Flat turf season is barely 5 1/2 months and the rest given up to AW bookie fodder.Don’t worry it will all have gone the way of dog racing before long
Can we have bigger font or free glasses there’s a lot of old people on this site
Someone needs to knock Serena out for Maria to have any chance
I’ll answer my own question it appears I was wrong it’s Mark Little in the box who seems to be a dead ringer for Jez Green
Hi
As I’ve advocated time and again AW needs a season it should stop at the being of the turf flat and start again when the flat finishes in November. We might then get some turf form going before JuneThe other major problem is the AW holds back the turf flat season it’s now mid May at least before the turf gets going and starts to get rid of the clutter of AW form. A good half the turf season is wasted now
I think this clearly shows you should never ever listen to jockeys (or trainers, tipsters ,journalists and anyone other than oneself)
Hi Alan
There just seems very little Flat turf racing considering we are mid way through May. On a number of days the jumps have outnumbered the flat The turf season seems to refuse to get going and a huge amount of the form is still from the dreaded AW a situation which will get even worse with additional tracks coming on stream. Frankly the whole situation is so poor that I have virtually given up betting as I’m rapidly losing interest after 60 years. Only today ( and most other days) I bitterly regretted the cost of a Racing Post to find yet again no likelihood of a betting proposition.
Ex Smartie from way back in your pastNo need to worry chaps they will soon be run on the straight AW mile at Newcastle under floodlights will a crowd of one man and his dog (if the dog can make it)when horse racing goes the same way as greyhound racing and run as BAGS

You’re correct Luddite jockey critics would be more convincing if they if managed to get their names right.A very poor decision from NF to try to get up the inside when he didn’t need to specially as he’d surrendered the outside to no one for most of the race
Lucky girl I’d like to join her!!!No floods there

October 10, 2013 at 13:56 in reply to: A Brave New World For Artificial Surface Racing?????? #454416Totally agree with Paul AW needs a defined winter season I’ve been banging on about this for years we really don’t want AW form still clogging turf cards deep into the summer nor do we need Kempton staging so called classic trials on a surface that the classics do not use. Most of all Lingfield would then be stopped from staging their God awful mixed meetings during the summer and ruining lovely grass races at this beautiful I(and now my nearest) track.
Miss Woodford
Your steeple chasing link website has a betting advert on it!! Hardly a point prover I think!Get real how many people apart from a few owners ( and there would be precious few of them) would want to watch a load horses running around a field without any betting.Where would the multi million breeding industry and the upkeep of the tracks be without a sufficient following of punters to fund it all not to mention their contribution to prize money
