Nathan he coulndt outstay a good handicapper , he was getting niggled throughout the race , he hasn’t the pace , even Mick Fitz talked about this before the race ( I mentioned it in this thread a while back ) I’ll take the old boy out of the race , missing all those fences didn’t help and he,ll come on a lot more for the run

Understand tinman , I was looking forward to watching the race however with him now a non runner it makes a betting race for me , if you want to watch a top class competitive race watch the john Durkin tomorrow , race of the year so in my book

I wasn’t going to play but all over rouge vic now , more than happy to take on politolgue and I think this horse is still improving , as regards to Altior Henderson is obv now going to be very very careful with him , it has a sprinter sacre feel to it , nursed back for 1 race , that race behind cyraname left its mark

It of a disappointing turnout , I can see classic Ben running a big race but I’ll side with crosspark , only 3lbs higher than his 2nd in Scot national , he finished in front of cloth cap giving him 8lbs on good ground that day, I think he’s a very fair price
