CAS Elliott needs to think out the box , as far as I know Sean hasn’t family so what’s to stop him , who cares what the Irish think , he needs to take the next step , Murphy is an excellent trainer but Elliott is the top table , if offered it he couldn’t say no

They need to tweek , mares hurdle needs a maximum mark so the top class mares to the Champion , I actually think the Ryanair looked a competitive race this year bar a top class horse but I know it’s not popular , personally I’d like a veterans hurdle and chase

True CAS but he was kicking out leaving the winners enclosure yesterday so I don’t think the race left much of a mark , if he does turn up then he’s a ridiculous handicap blot

Doesn’t look soft enough for Vango so I’ll stick with Apples Away , no staying question and a touch of class , e.w Galia Des liteaux hasn’t hit the heights this year but her mark now reflects that , again no staying question

Rachel has done really well this week however she hasn’t the history of injuries like Jack , Kennedy has missed huge chunks of time in the last few seasons , he’s now one of two bad falls from retirement , if Elliott doesn’t act then it shows his lack of planning …. He knows Bowen , he know needs to get him as his no1

It’ll depend on the ground , if it’s not a bog then let’s face it it’s actually a easier race than yesterday , Cromwell doesn’t sound keen but he’ll do as JP wants , I wonder if GDC would have a go at Aintree one year ….

Understand that CAS but as I said the eye was def drawn to him on that last run , Cromwell hasn’t the ammo of Mullins or Elliott so he had to maximise his opp , lol Mike should you back GDC next year on his ground ..

No he hasn’t CAS but as I said it you watch the prev race then he was given let’s say a gentle ride , it was the same with Marine Nationale , these 2 were both prepped for this week and this week only

Plenty older horses have run well in the GC , Seemorebusiness placed at 13 if I remember rightly , Kauto and Denman also ran well , you can get bogged down in stats , the GC is the ultimate test , you need to have everything , yesterday the winner prob handled the ground better and was primed for the day , next season on winter ground GDC despite being 10 will prob have a decent chance of reversing the form in some races , Mike if Chelt 2026 was ran on good to soft and GDC was there would you not back him ?

It’s strange I’m a huge NH fan but I went racing 3 times last year … all flat lol , I can still talk to my brother about it but it been strange without dad , still enjoyed it though as thankfully I’ve had some winners and the weather’s been good , it’ll take time to adjust but getting there

Get Bowen , he’s the best , has been for a while now , some of his rides in the last month have been proper McCoy stuff , I get the feeling Jonjo junior is getting the JP gig though , Elliott has used Bowen in the UK , he now needs him in Ireland

I get the feeling there’s not many more festivals in Henderson , 40 + years is a long time and maybe it’s time for someone younger to have a go with those facilities , as for Nico , he’s had a horrible week and looked from the off like a man with the world on his shoulders , I get there’s pressure but Jesus h he’s is privileged position , how many in the weighing room would swap with him
