The Hill , the George Best of hurdling
He still finished 3rd running much wider then the competition , he’s very decent and will win plenty
… And I’m still kicking Derek , I’ll be honest I don’t think he’s had the greatest of seasons
He did Moe but Derek sat to long , he travelled so well though should have been asking earlier , don’t give up on him though , he’s a talented horse
I don’t believe he would beat her off level , surely a step up in distance and a fence will be the future for him, with State Man knocking on and Sir Gino unlikely to return I’d say after that supreme she’s got a chance of retaining
He’s expecting some b and b at the kings pleasure then
When I see Fox at Ayr next I’m going to kick him in the bollocks , how the feck has he not won that
The question is how does he get away with it …
I’ve had a decent day , e.w treble on the Skelton horses and I have a treble with Lossiemouth , Old Park Star and Woddoh which should come in , With the Old Park Star and Johnnywho singles I’m easily up , if Lucindas horse can come in in the last I’m having a special fish supper
You’d almost think Skelton is a twisting bar steward , he was the winner 3 out , it’s been a good day , bookies getting a booting
To be fair I reckon they’ll be some good days ahead for Kopek , wouldn’t be sure about Jagwar
I think the fact TNL and Lossiemouth travelled comfortably backed up the slower pace
Is there a question of adjusting the mares allowance , say if you’ve won so many grade 1s you only get 3/4 lbs , I don’t believe it made a difference today however
It was a good Lay Jack , I hope Hughsie wasn’t punting on his thoughts here today
He’s loves that faded 70s rock star look …
At least she got 1 , to come year on year and win is an achievement in itself , good for the crowd and racing
She was faultless , TNL not good enough , good run from the second but Lossiemouth loves the place doesn’t she
