Kopek Des Bordes 11-4
November 17, 2025 at 10:11 #1744912November 22, 2025 at 10:05 #1745234I’ve got a screenshot at 7’s for Kopek but I’ll keep it onto after the race…

July Flower jumped well enough the other day and I’ve had a bit on her at 20’s top price now.. This looks the destination and shes a solid back up for a top yard that knows how to get plenty of winners at Cheltenham

December 6, 2025 at 14:25 #1746796I don’t want to jinx it but Jesus we could have a cracking arkle and Champion chase
Pick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026
December 8, 2025 at 12:24 #1747033Form and jumping ability so far, I have Lulamba and Romeo Coolio ahead of KDB but he’s only had one run and could improve a ton for his second start.
December 11, 2025 at 20:28 #1747273Henderson on Constitution Hill: “He won’t run over fences..That is categorical.”
Unibet, sponsor of Henderson’s stable: Constitution Hill 33/1 for the Arkle.
December 11, 2025 at 20:41 #1747275Kopek won’t be seen over Christmas had small operation to remove chip in knee but should be back in action February

December 26, 2025 at 16:40 #1748584Romeo looks a 2 and a half miler in truth.
December 27, 2025 at 11:16 #1748675No, he didn’t appreciate the drop back in trip and the Arkle is even shorter than that
They could race him wide but might wait for AintreeDecember 27, 2025 at 16:19 #1748776I’d just run him anyway probably. Hes got the course form, we know he handles the occasion of the festival and hes a good jumper and hes just won an Arkle trial which even if he’d been beaten wouldnt have been that far. Look what happened last year with Jango. Fences need jumping at the end of the day and hes a very safe conveyance who will get round and could place anyway. I think the horse he beat is pretty good too fwiw
January 29, 2026 at 08:08 #1752316Mambonumberfive is a horse that has really impressed me. He was
more than happy to stay well out back last time at Kempton and
anytime he wanted to close is was immediate. Coming to the 3rd
last he moved from last, without having to touch the horse, to sit
alongside the leader. Jumped the 2nd last and casually went 5 lengths
clear. Good jump at the last and he finished 7 lengths clear, but it
could have been much further. The horse looked so nonchalant for the most part of the race and yet
his winning time was 4.49 seconds faster than the average. I think
this is a really good horse and I’ve taken him for 16/1 and in the
Scilly Iles Novice chase at Sandown tomorrow I’ve taken the 7/1.Mambonumberfive 16/1 Bet365
January 29, 2026 at 18:27 #1752401I don’t much like the idea of Kopek Des Bordes coming here after only one run. I would have thought it is more likely he will miss this race and run at Punchestown instead.
January 29, 2026 at 18:29 #1752402What does Willie send instead
Pick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026
January 29, 2026 at 19:55 #1752421The problem is Kopek didn’t make Christmas which was two months ago.
The Arkle is less than two months away.. If they were happy with him and positive what’s the problem now? The DRF going? Its only a 3 runner race so he’d have been able to set his own fractions.“He’s perfect, he’s working very well, but Willie rang me this morning and said he just wasn’t happy for him to take his place this weekend,” owner Charlie McCarthy told the Nick Luck Daily Podcast.
“All along I firmly believed the horse would have made Saturday’s race. It’s a disappointment, but all I can say is that I prefer to have a horse than not to have a horse, and I’ve always respected Willie’s wishes. It’s what he’s decided to do and that’s what we’ve got to go along with.”
Referring to the setback that forced Kopek Des Bordes to also miss a potential engagement at Leopardstown over Christmas, he said: “He had a floating chip removed which set him back about two weeks – we were playing catch-up.
Without this race they will be playing catch still, no …
