Couldn’t have done much more, its whether he has the championship pace in a championship race as they were going to go 2 and a half miles with him initially.

I’m on him now for the Supreme even though I’ve never really seen him as a Supreme horse. Gives me Denman vibes every time I see him.

He’ll be some chaser. I just hope Hendo isn’t too conservative with him but obviously that will be the case.

I’d be aiming him down the Gold cup route all day.

Henderson has the potential to win Surpreme, Arkle and Champion Hurdle with Sir Gino yet everyone will be talking about Constitution Hill refusing to jump the first… :rose:

Had a go with Blake. I like the horse, but I appreciate he’s probably not the profile you’re looking for here. Hopefully see him at DRF, and he does enough to head here.

Edit – Free Race at moment, having laid 70’s. Gives me free race, but if he makes five day decs, I’ll go back in

Blake 190’s (Laid 70’s, free race)

    Final Decs

Starting from scratch here, having greened out on Blake. Genuinely fancied him, so hope he doesn’t do much at Naas today

Edit – Leader D’Allier Non Runner, so stuck with one, be happy with fourth, though things have to fall perfect for that to happen

    Le Divin Enfant 66-1 ew

Bit keen at Christmas (the horses with him fell out the back of the telly) and jockey stopped riding before the last, then started again when Talk the Talk fell but had lost momentum. I think he will do better next weekend.

    Ruby napped him that weekend

There’s been a few occasions when their pecking order and race selection has changed dramatically after Christmas, unless they have something like Douvan

Also, they have even more horses now

El Cairos down to run tomorrow Thursday 2.55 Thurles
Do you think he will run in that and the DRF?

edit – looking at the odds he won’t be running on Sunday

I still prefer El Cairos for Cheltenham, he looks a strong traveller and that was a crawl today. jockey blaming himself for the final hurdle mistake. Could be a blessing skipping DRF

Yeah, I think he’ll learn from that and with further schooling he’ll be right for Cheltenham

    Not ideal but still

Agree HDLG. Henderson’s horse looks straightforward. He travels strongly without over racing, jumps well and finds plenty when asked.

El Cairos is undoubtedly talented but he looks like a headcase. He could win but he could just as easily end up on the floor.

I thought Henderson horse looked very professional , there’s and engine there to , it’ll kill Nicholls watching it ..

Apart from the final hurdle he was foot perfect bar one other hurdle where he just got a bit tight into it. The last hurdle was horrendous but the jockey held his hands up
better going and opening race of the festival pace will suit him.
Old Park Star does have a big engine, I’d expect El Cairos to be right in behind him and try and pounce after the last hurdle.

A concern with me for El Cairos is whether his jumping holds up, up in grade. Supreme winners usually go into Cheltenham with a class 1 win in the bag.

They’ll be going full pelt at the festival , I’ll be amazed if he does clip a couple

    ” it’ll kill Nicholls watching it ”

Probably but I think Nicholls would have taken a different route. Couldn’t win a bumper in three attempts and would probably have sent him over further
