Does anyone know the fitness of Impaire Et Passe? I feel 20/1 offers value if he’s fit and well.

He skipped Cheltenham for Aintree last season and may do again this season.
December 20, 2025 at 20:39 #1748193Realistically FTF is looking like one of the bankers if he comes back here
Pick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026
December 20, 2025 at 22:35 #1748202Completely agree FTF is the most likely winner but at this stage I like to try to find a bit of value. Considering he comfortably beat Jango Baie last season who’s priced up at 7/1 I’d say 20/1 is great value. Simon Munir also said they’d be targeting the Ryanair and the reason they skipped Cheltenham last year is because they scrapped the 2m4f novice chase and replaced it with a novice handicap where he’d have had to saddle top weight which they wanted to avoid. Any info on his wellbeing would be very appreciated.

Could be a forgotten horse though
December 21, 2025 at 17:29 #1748250I’ve taken the chance on Impaire Et Passe at 20/1. Were he to turn up I think he’d be near the top of the betting.
December 30, 2025 at 09:24 #1749077Seems the perfect race at Cheltenham for Gaelic Warrior. Win in John Durkan showed how much of a tearaway he can be, so just can’t see him lasting 3m2f there.
Skipped festival last year so might again, but they’ve raced GW and F2F against each other several times now and can see them being 7/4 joint favs on the day (lot of the others at head of the betting will probably be going elsewhere).
December 30, 2025 at 09:35 #1749078Willie Mullins said Gold Cup Gaelic Warrior when interviewed yesterday about some of his horses by Gary O’Brien after Lossiemouth’s win (though he used the word ‘could’ rather than ‘would’). Wouldn’t describe him as a tearaway he was fine at Aintree and in the King George over 3 miles, just a bit fresh first time over a much shorter trip so jockey just got on with it.
December 30, 2025 at 10:15 #1749081Gaelic Warrior had every excuse to tearaway in the King George at the early pace but settled fine.

December 30, 2025 at 11:20 #17490853/1 Fact To File has the look of a belated Christmas present.
December 30, 2025 at 12:11 #1749088Mullins horses have been more miss over the Christmas period so yes its seems a bit of an overreaction to FTF

December 30, 2025 at 12:17 #1749089Nah – as you posted elsewhere, Nathan, Garlic Bread “broke” FTF at Punchestown. It’s like Arkle v Mill House revisited.
😉

It seems that way, but I’d like to know what’s going on at the stable right now. There were just too many horses that underperformed. Otherwise, the 3/1 truly is a gift.
December 30, 2025 at 12:21 #1749091Plenty of time for Mullins to get Fact to File spot on for this
I’d keep FTF and Gaelic Warrior separate at home though as Gaelic Warrior scares the living daylights out of himGaelic Warrior Gold Cup Winner 2026

Especially when HDLG is watching their work.

January 7, 2026 at 00:29 #1749716Panic Attack the standout for me, and I love that 66’s. That looks wrong to me, and even though she’s no doubt Mares Chase bound, I can’t resist an early go just now
I’ve bet her for last two Mares Chases, so no doubt she’ll go there now.
Just think she remains a bit underrated at that price, and I’ll have a decent punt once NRNB kicks in, but just small early go right now
Edit 13th Jan
Still fairly certain she’ll swerve Cheltenham, but a fair top up before the Newbury run
