He is one of the best racehorses in the world.
He is unbeaten at Newmarket with 2 wins from 2 runs and a group 1 winner over 1m 4f. His Arc run can be easily dismissed and he looked better than ever last time when breaking the track record eased down.
If Ghaiyaath brings his ‘A game’ to the table then this will be a procession and it will prove irrelevant what tactics any other jockey tries to employ.
If he is below his best then we have a race on.
Thanks guys.
I gave up on looking at the French racing Greenasgrass as I just don’t know enough about it or follow it normally.
Delighted that UK racing returns today though.6 15 Newcastle ASSAYER 14/1 ew
She ran well when 4th on debut in a higher grade class 3 novice at Chelmsford ridden by Sean Davis. Tom Hamilton takes over here and Fahey is likely to have her as fit as is possible. The step up to 1m 2f will suit and this is a drop in grade.
Her sire is Galileo and her dam is Fix who won 2 group 2s over 1m 2f as a 3yo in NZ.
She should improve and go close in this race at a decent price. In opposition Wise Glory may go off favourite but his sire is 0/13 on Tapeta so looks an unlikely winner, Byzantine Emperor has already been turned over at odds of 3/1 and 6/4fav in his 2 previous races. The frankel colt Valyrian Steel must have a good chance here on debut.
Luck On Sunday cost 2 million euros and is unlikely to be given a hard time first time up.Looks quite an open race but hopefully Faheys ASSAYER can take it at decent odds.
I’m with you Venture and think Communique looks interesting at 25/1.
4 runs and 4 wins at Newmarket he seems to run his best races here wether Rowley or July course.
Was 4th in this race last year at Epsom but the switch to Newmarket for this years running is in his favour.
Ghaiyath is the rightful favourite but could be vulnerable here on first run back from Dubai.Absolutely I have praise for the Brazilian guy if he hasn’t done any lockdown, I haven’t really seen anything of Brazil as I generally try to avoid the news as much as possible.
I have no surprise though that the puppet media have convinced people he is a nutcase if he is daring to go against what the world government are telling every country to do.
He sounds like a top bloke but I don’t know enough about him to hold any opinion on him.Sweden may have a high percentage of people living alone but that bears little relevance as they are all still going about their day, public transport is normal, they still have to go to work, they still go to the pubs, cafes and restaurants and do the shopping.
Living alone or not shouldn’t make too much difference unless you are suggesting these single people never leave there house which I would find hard to believe.I actually said if you want to give a leader flack then Boris is a better target than Trump in reply to a gentleman saying look at Trump and insinuating he was the worst leader not because I think Boris has done a bad job. He just does as he is told same as all the others.
It actually makes little difference what happens to Boris as even if he gets kicked out of the job he will only be replaced by another world government puppet who will do exactly as they are told just like Boris does.A sneeze and cough can travel at 100mph and up to 27ft meaning that the ‘social distancing’ of people is pointless.
Turn off the BBC who is filling you with fear. Go outside enjoy the good weather, when you walk past somebody instead of looking at them with horror and throwing yourself into the nearest shop doorway To avoid human contact. Try smiling at the people you walk past and spread the love, don’t spread fear. Be a human don’t let the world slave agenda change you.
I salute all people who protest the lockdown. Modern day heroes.
Captain Robbo I understand how social distancing is hurting the economy, and life and how most people recover from Covid 19, but a lesson on how not to handle it comes from Trump in America. By the way although likely to be out of date but the last global figure from Covid 19 is 5.5 million.
If Trump farted the media would blame him for making the hole in the ozone layer. I’m not a Trump fan but there has always been a clear campaign against him no matter what he does. He has actually done quite a lot of good things. He also never told anybody to inject themselves with Dettol despite what the media desperately want you to believe.
USA has a population of 328 million and around 100,000 alleged corona virus deaths.
UK has a population of 68 million and has had 38,000 deaths.
So USA has a population almost 5 times the size of the UK yet has had just over 2.5 times as many deaths.
The USA figures look even more impressive compared to ours when you realise that the virus is more dangerous to ethnic minorities specifically Black and Asian and the USA has far more Black and Asian people than the uk does. USA 72% white, UK 80% white.
As well as the virus being more deadly to coloured people, people who are over weight are also much more likely to die. As we all know the USA has the highest number of obese people in the entire world.
Trump is smashing us to bits but shouldn’t be on all known evidence, so why are you using Trump as an example of how not to do it, the figures show he has done a far superior job than Boris Johnson no matter how the media try to swing it.
Sweden has had no lockdown, they have a population of 10 million and around 4000 deaths.
So Sweden is also doing far better than the UK despite never having been put in lockdown at any time and not shutting the economy down. Sweden also has a higher average age than the UK population and an almost identical to the uk 80% are white Swedish.
Had the world of gone into lockdown in 1968 with the Hong kong Flu that killed over a million people in a world of just 3.5 billion people then most of us over the age of 40 would already be dead now due to the poverty and destruction that lockdown would have caused and the knock on effects it would have had on life.
The lockdown is wrong and evil but if you want to attack a world leader in the current crisis then surely it should be Boris Johnson and not Donald Trump who is getting the most flack.
Positive was sent off 3rd favourite for the dewhurst. The trainer had no explanation for the poor run. Perhaps he isn’t as good on soft ground. He is bred to make a 3yo and should improve this season.
If you forgive him his dewhurst run then he looks quite solid. His sire Dutch Art was 3rd in the Guineas and was the only horse in the first 6 home who raced on the far side not the stands side so had he have gone on the stands side and had a kinder draw for that year then he probably would have won it. His dam sire was Makfi who won the Guineas impressively.
There’s a lot to like about Positive and the 40/1 ew looks very tempting. I’m hoping the price will hold as I won’t bet til a bit closer to the race.
Befair if that is the case then every single opinion on this thread is uninformed?
This guy is a doctor and has been studying virology for the last 50 years. This man speaks the truth and allows no advertising and gets zero revenue on his you tube channel. The WHO is a sham and the biggest world propaganda seen of all time designed to leave you living in fear and as a slave.
The whole thing is a complete scam. I probably had this virus and wasn’t right for 7 weeks or so in late December and early January (never tested obviously). It isn’t nice. One of my neighbours died from it. My cousin who is a paramedic and her husband who is a junior doctor both had the virus. All sad and not nice.
Destroying society for good is not the answer however.
I disagree as the future deaths that will directly happen from lockdown will far outweigh the deaths of the virus. Society will collapse and there will be no NHS for the children of today though collapse of society is clearly the plan from the unelected world government which is ultimately calling all the shots in every governments actions.
New Zealand as well as being so lowly populated is also the most isolated major country in the entire world which also has helped greatly with their success. NZ also has a significantly lower average age than the uk has. NZ prime minister has no doubt done a much better job than the fawlty towers style of government that we have got but NZ were always going to come out of this better than the uk no matter who was in charge.
The only people who should be on lockdown are those with underlying health conditions and those who are elderly and even then they should have the freedom to make that choice themselves though a clear help scheme (shopping, visits etc)for anybody in that bracket should be available to all who need it.
If you want your children, grand children to live a reduced life in poverty, violence and disease with no NHS and no freedom then you are right to support the lockdown.
This is obviously my own opinion and I respect your right to have your opinion.
New Zealand -46 people per square mile
England – 1010 people per square mileThe above stat is key when comparing the two countries.
That’s good news then Mike as the race wouldn’t be the same without the Irish.
I will still wait to the day to place a bet as the draw can be very important.
If forced to place a bet today I would probably take the 40/1 on Positive. Looks over priced.
Is it 100% that the Irish will be allowed to come over for the Guineas?
That needs permission from not only the UK government but also from the Irish government. It’s a brave man who is backing anything antepost for this race in my opinion especially those backing the Irish runners.
Tank, over 30,000 people in Britain have died due to Covid 19; that might only be a statistic to you, but represents 30,000 individual tragediesDeath is just part of life. Of course it’s sad that 30,000 people in Britain have died of Covid 19 though it’s no sadder than the 20,000 who die here every year from the flu, 170,000 die from heart related illness each year, 5 people die each day from road related incidents, the 165,000 who die from cancer every year.
Death is just part of life, probably 100s of people have died in the time it’s taken me to write this post. Every death is sad but that’s life, we can’t walk round grieving strangers because we would be in permanent grief.
This lockdown will cause much more deaths than a low grade virus ultimately and that is where the real sadness lies. There is no reason to lock us down and it’s pure evil that they are doing that to us. Our children’s, grand children’s lives will ultimately be ruined and cut short due to this lockdown. That’s true sadness. A virus is just part of life and life must go on.
Boris Johnson should be removed for failing to sack Dominic.
This clown should never have been allowed to be in charge of our country in the first place. He simply has to go now. Enough is enough.
Not true at all I clearly stated that I don’t have any problem with you taking your father to the hospital even though that is clearly in breach of the rules. It was you who personally asked my opinion on this personal to you matter.
I have 100% stuck to the rules personally even though I don’t like them and think the effect of the lockdown is going to be much more negative for the nations health than any virus ever could be.
There is no personal attack on you, I have merely pointed out the flawed logic.
Some of my favourite Facebook warriors when we were under stricter lockdown were making posts such as:
“I have just been for a walk by the river and I cannot believe how many people were walking by the river, it was busier than a normal day pre lockdown. Do these idiots not realise there is a lockdown on. We will never get out of lockdown at this rate”.
I have genuinely seen posts like the above example. They seem to have no realisation that they are doing the exact same thing as the others by the river but get on their high horse about the others who are doing the same.
